Another King Tramennis Fanart

Titans know the world didn't need another one of my stupid drawings of the guy, and yet, here we are.

I have no excuse (well my avatar needed a touch-up, but yeah).

    Holster is backwards, assuming he is left-handed

  • CarniDollMancer

    @vreejack: Dick! I was gonna say that.  As a props master, this deeply offends my sensibilities (not really. after seeing a hundred actors and 3.5 edition PCs {hyperbole} make this mistake I no longer care.  Maybe they just flare their wrist oddly on the draw).

    Anyway, I like it!  The gun looks a little lightsaber-y and Tramennis with a chiseled jaw is... wierd, just doesn't seem the type.  But I like it.

    Love the drawing style.   The ink work is like Calvin and Hobbes.

    @Vreejack: Judging from his Signamancy he might be a Princess Bride, so he might actually not be left-handed afterall. :)

  • arin

     @Squall83 LOL! Well played :)

  • Humptyblargh

    Or, it's a cross-draw, and he's right handed, but just switched hands to make a dramatic gesture with his right, without waving the weapon around.

  • motorfirebox

    Or he prefers a cavalry draw. The FBI actually favored that holster position for a while.

  • CelebrenIthil

    That's what I get for trying to interpret the vague lines on the pouch as a holster. Oh well. Too much effort for an avatar to begin with, that sure was.

    @CarniDollMancer He's not as lantern-jawed as his bros but he got the family butt-chin alright. I dunno if the beard is going to be a blessing or not on that front. And the raygun is basically different in every appearance it has in the comics. Which actually extends between three artists so, well, I tried for the latest iteration, for what I could understand of it.

    @YRM Wow a compliment! Thank you! <3 <3 <3

    @Squall Beats me, he appears to be switching hands between appearances so I guess he's either ambidextrous, unused to guns or he indeed knows something we don't know...

  • CelebrenIthil

    Oh hey and tips!
    Thanks all!

    King Trammenis Fanarrrrrrrrt.

    That crown looks more and more like a fruit-basket laughing

    "Beats me, he appears to be switching hands between appearances so I guess he's either ambidextrous, unused to guns or he indeed knows something we don't know..."

    Do we know whether dittomancied copies retain their handedness? Is it possible that Tramennis is left-handed and his copy is right-handed (or vice versa) and which hand they favour is a clue to which of them we're seeing? That might be completely mad, of course: it only occurred to me on reading your post.

  • LoH

    @Aed You know, that would make some sense re: Dittomancy (the ditto being a mirror image).

    I like the small shading choice of the two light red circles on the crown turnip. Simple touch that makes it look like glossy enamel. Nice detail work!

  • CelebrenIthil

    Thank you Andrew! <3

    I'm glad you looked closely enough to notice at all! :)
