I have subscribed to Erfworld (between some dozens of other webcomics and some other information sources) in my RSS reader, and get notified whenever there is an update. I recommend this also to all ones who don't like to regularly visit a website to see there is no new update.

As such, I'm quite content with the "as often as we can" approach.
