Waiting on Book 2

Hey, I'm wondering, is there any word on when book 2 will commence? The authors obviously deserve a rest (wonderful end to book 1, and I want more), but I'm wondering if I should take a week off this site. If it's a long wait, could we get an email list for the recommencement, or a notice at giantitp? I know the RSS feed is obviously a good bet, but I don't use RSS myself, and it's semi-pointless to begin checking a reader when this site will work fine.

Yah, I'm kind of lazy like that, although I prefer to call it being "productive".

Yes. The new book is begining in the fall. In the meantime, we have been told that there will be 'small updates' (whatever that means) starting June 4th. I can hardly wait, though. This is such a great comic.

I'm assuming the small updates will fill in the time gap between books 1 and 2. I also remember reading somewhere most will take the form of Parson's klogs.

That remains to be seen. Perhaps they already are Chinese and we don't know since Erfworld doesn't have many racial traits and stuff. FAQ was obviously based of Japan, but Jillian doesn't look Japanese.
