So, Ossomer is Down and King Slately could easily be next. I've been trying to think through how Lord Hamster would parse through the politics. It's possible to really tangle up Erfworld's rules with more sploitz!
Want to see Jetstone's Line of Succession be tortured? I do!
1- King Slately of Jetstone gets his jetpack removed by the Archons. Lets say they take out a few more in the process, enough to designate an heir.
2- As the King falls, he designates the incapped Prince Trammeninis as his heir.
3- Lets say someone heals Trammenis. Doesn't matter who. Maybe some Jetstone unit finds a Healomancy scroll. Maybe Parson goes through the portal. Maybe Wanda goes BACK, which is bending the rules but given she was just there a few minutes ago she's not Assaulting a portal, she's more like Returning through it. Suffice to say someone heals Trammenis.
4- Let's further say Trammenis parleys with Parson and some kind of truce is declared. If Wanda couldn't go through before into enemy territory, she can when it's Truce territory.
5- Wanda Decrypts King Jetstone.
6- Trammenis can now designate his own father his Heir! Usually people are too Croaked or Uncroaked or Alive but Abdicated for that ever to happen, but I feel positive a Decrypted family member is alive enough to be designated Heir. Booping rule-breaking Arkentools! Ordinarily you shouldn't be able to designate another Faction's unit as your Heir, but he's already an approved member of the Jetstone Bloodline, so I think that check would automatically pass! If(MemberOfJetstoneRoyalFamily=TRUE) then AllowHeirDesignation; KingSlately.MemberOfJetstoneRoyalFamily=TRUE, therefore AllowHeirDesignation(King.Slately).
7- "King" Slately thus re-designated, Trammenis Abdicates. The Titans are giving you a second chance, King Slately! How's THAT feel?
8- Control of Jetstone is thus transferred to King Slately. But Slately is Decrypted and thus bound to Wanda, who is a subordinate Gobwin Knob unit! The entire Jetstone side aligns its Loyalty to its King, who is a Decrypted Gobwin Gnob unit subordinate to its Overlord. Gowbin Gnob now has a non-Royal Overlord who has a Chief Croakamancer with a Decrtypted King with an entire side intact under him! It's like a sub-committee.
9- Not being killed by Wanda, and being of less stern character anyway, King Slately finds he doesn't have it in him to turn back to Jetstone as Ossomer did. And anyway, Jetstone remains an entirely new entity, a Kingdom-Within-A-Side, so even if he "returns" to it nothing happens.
All Hail the Titans' new blueprint for Erfworld, where Royals are allowed to maintain their Royalty yet still serve the Tools of the Titans!
