He could also be referring to the new mandate from the Titans. Previously, attuned units might have keep a lower profile, rather than setting out on a religious quest.

Therefore either arkentool wielders in the past have 'disappeared,' or these are the only three that have ever attuned. Remember that Erfworlders pop with 'basic knowledge' intact, so even if something has never happened before, they could still have been popped with the knowledge that units can attune to the Arkentools.

Perhaps John Smith, the attuned wielder of the arkenglasses, is living in the magic kingdom is making a ton of money copying himself. What would superprince say about him? "Would you prefer Smith's non-descriptness?" It doesn't really fit. Ansom probably wouldn't want to bring up someone he doesn't serve. Its also possible the other wielder is a royal. Wouldn't make a good point for either side.

Actually, that would make a good point for the GK side. They could say that the Titans have abandoned Royals completely, they are just spreading the mandate around more.
