How do you create an animation...
I guess to try and make it simple... Most people who make animations for the internet use Adobe flash; it's program that is fairly easy to pick up and is capable of doing great stuff if you know what you're doing. you'll have to look up tutorials or buy books to get a good handle on all the tools; and possibly as tutorials and on animation if you want to learn how to use the tools to their fullest. And of course lots and lots of practice.

Those animations you linked were deceptively simple. In actuality they had a bit of work put into them. There are a lot of animation programs out there depending on what style you are going for. You should try out "Pencil." http://www.pencil-animation.org/

It's free, and works on windows, osx, and linux.

Strange, what happened to the original post? It looks like we are responding to no one.
