What are you watching?

The thread to let everyone else know what you are watching or have been watching or going to watch.

TV:

(Food Network Challenge: Last Cake Standing) - I'm always a fan of the Food Network Challenges and any contests they show.

(Medium) - An on-again/off-again viewer.

(various Law & Order shows) - Again, I'll watch from time to time.

(Smallville) - When it comes to the Superman TV shows, I think this is better than the 90's Lois and Clark.

Anime:

(Tytania) - I just finished watching the first two seasons. I'm hoping more will be made as I'm a fan of the space opera anime. I'm glad this anime has more political intrigue and less mecha.

(Toradora) - Still going through it.

(Spice And Wolf) - The second season of this anime is going to be shown in Japan this summer. I look forward to this anime that blends economics and pagan deities together.

Movies:

(Wolverine: Origins) - I might be able to see this when it opens tomorrow. Or not. Whenever I get the chance, I'll watch it.

Burn Notice, better than Bond, Bourne, whatever. Simply the best spy stuff around.

Fringe, first 8 episodes were amazing, but I'm starting to loose interest...

The Protector (Movie) - Best foreign martial arts I've seen in years. (and it's Thai)

The Good, The Bad, The Weird (Movie) Korean wild west movie (They really improved on eastwood, don't care what you say)

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's sort of like a sit-com, only it's funny. Bad people. Bad things happen to them. They deserve it.

Eureka. I'm debating continuing to watch this, assuming it comes back. First season was absolutely amazing. Second season was still quite good. Third season was made of pain.

You have GOT to see Ong Bak 2, then...it's only available in import right now (I believe), but even so, it takes Tony Jaa's crazy game to a whole new level. Of AWESOME.

Lol, it does get pretty slow around the middle, but once you clear that hurdle, It speeds up. James Clavell is an excellent author

I gave up on Shogun for a while in the middle. After about a year, I got really into it again and cleared that hurdle. Right as my Husky decided to eat it.

Now I intend to visit the libary.

As for what I'm watching:

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - It's another anime adaptation of the FMA manga, but this time it looking like it's going to directly follow the manga. It's been interesting so far, the first few episodes are going to have a similar story, but there's enough changed to keep it interesting.

Big Bang Theory - I like it. For whatever reason I always love comedy that tends to have dysfunctional nerdy characters.

The Mighty Boosh - For whatever reason, I have a thing for wierd British humor.

That's about it.

What I'm lookin forward to:

Venture Bros. Season 4 - A parody of 1960's Super Science cartoons with the biggest being Johnny Quest. It's basically a look at how that genre would have aged 30 or so years.

Superjail Season 2 - Imagine what if Willy Wonka built a jail in a dimension where normal physics do not apply. Now imagine that it's animated like the old 1980s metal music videos. There's a riot in every episode where the inmates slaughter eachother, so it's a bit gory, but I dig it.

There was a sequel to the original Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior? How does it compare the the first? Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior was so much better than "The Protector" in my opinion and I'm wondering if they brought it back.

TV- Love the Office and 30 Rock! I think Alec Baldwin is a complete jerk, so he's perfect in his role on 30 Rock. I can't beleive they are canceling My Name is earl, though!

Still watching my DVDs of Dexter, man that's a good show!

Every now and then I get stuck watching Retro TV, original Knight Rider and Incredible Hulk.

Clone wars, of course!

House (S5 pretty weak, although last three were awesome. Hopefully S6 is the last.)
Castle (Never quite reached its potential, but still pretty good. Ending cliffhanger was shit though.)
Dollhouse (I am SO PLEASED this got renewed. I enjoyed it as much as Firefly.)
Newswipe (A little show by TV critic Charlie Brooker that gave a sardonic view of the news.)

Still watching:

Ashes to Ashes (S2 way better than S1, but still not Life on Mars. Also nearly finished.)
The Apprentice (Not an avid follower, just amusing to watch them being incompetent.)

Other recent things:

Doctor Who (Easter special was way better than anticipated.)
Red Dwarf - Back to Earth (This was terrible. Massively self-obsessed drivel.)

Also some non-current shows I've been watching:

Code Geass (Good, but never quite great. Ending is ridiculously idealistic.)
Supernatural (Only two episodes in, not enough to comment, really.)
Avatar: The Last Airbender (I stopped halfway through episode one. It was SO BAD.)

since none of the shows I usually watch are airing right now, I've been perusing my DVD's and Boxed set.

Neon Genesis Evangelion. -Quite possibly my favorite show of all time, for reasons I'm not entirely sure of.

Firefly. -If not NGE, then this for my favorite show.

Big Bang Theory -I love the nerdy humor.

Full metal Alchemist Season one. -Never really liked season two, but season one was good. It made me laugh, which is enough.

Buffy: The vampire Slayer and Angel. -I love Joss Whedon's stuff, what can I say?

Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog. -Another of Whedon's works

Repo: The Genetic Opera. -A nice musical, with plenty of gore.


There's probably more, but I can't think of it off the top of my head.
