Seems that blindness is a pretty powerful penalty in Erfworld. It made the tin man and scarecrow actual threats to Jillian instead of one shot KOs like Orwell. If lookamancers have to touch the target then that is the balancing factor to avoid it being broken. Titans only help you if lookamancers could mass blind at range.
