I love the new art. Lots of fun details in each panel and the colors are really interesting. I wonder how soon this is after the last summer update? Parson sure is slimming down. Maybe he'll be more confident with the archons now. I'm not so sure his original clothes would still fit him after all that weight loss. Maybe the twolls do hemming as well as fabrication?

Sweet, you guys got me a birthday present. I guess I'm one of the few people who are actually happy Book 2 launched on the 29th.

Love the issue title. Love the first line. Like the art quite a lot as well, though Parson looks a little thin. Ihave nothing against it, it just feels kinda weird.

Damn, I had written this lenthy post but it got eaten by my Explorer.

To sum up; Love the new style, reminds me of some isometric adventure games I've played. In a good way. Stanley looks a bit wierd in the second panel, but the awsomeness of the rest made up for that. With a vengance. I love the dwagon-pillars. The new war-room beats the crap out of the last one.

Ok, so we can probably guess that whenever Maggie is very busy is when there's exitement on the frontline and Stanley wants to know what's going on. Which really should be all the time, since he doesn't really seem to have all that much to do apart from sulking.

I'm intrigued as to why Ansom is talking to Ossomer. Might we learn the limits of Arkenplier manipulation? (probably not)

Anyone else notice that the potted plants in the background in panel 5 seem to be a la Mario Bros? Looks like a fire flower and a climbing beanstalk at the very least I love easter eggs

Pannel 5- look at the plants at the side of the room. 2nd from the left looks like the vine thingy from mario and second from the right is a FIRE FLOWER. (I suppose Japanese stuff fits with the Asian theame)

It's the little things that count.

Also, the background of the rooms have paintings- last pannel top right corner- is that Saurons tower from LotR right next to a 100 acre woods picture with a image of Tigger? Oh, and the table that their standing around is the ol' Eyeamancy Table- maybe a linkup between Jack and Maggie can project the intellegence maggie recieves and Parson can predict the outcomes for any move the Tool suggests.

Ansom is talking to Ossomer... but a battle is about to begin. Looking forward to seeing how the surprise capital strike is going to go! Assuming that's what's going on, after all.

(My guess is that it's the "O HAI WE HAVE A GIANT ARMY OUTSIDE UR CAPITAL LOL" talking, since Parson looks completely unfazed by the fact that Ansom is talking, and by the fact that there will be a battle, and he'd be more ruffled if things weren't going according to plan. The Tool, on the other hand, is angry as always.)

Love the art, by the way. The flowers and the paintings are nice touches.

Based on the fact that the issue title is "Meet the Jetstones", this issue might be mostly about the Jetstone campaign... but Jillian will have to to factor in to that as well. And, of course, something *has* to go wrong within the first few comics to set up a nice conflict. Wonder what it'll be? Failed capital strike? Charlie/Jillian booping their boop up?

Can't wait for more.
