Well, with Wanda going all Rocky Horror on us, Shock Treatment is surprisingly fitting.

Do we have enough identifying characteristics to establish who, if anybody, the Dittomancer is based on? Appears to have a "c" in a circle as his staff...

Excellent. Ossomer falls for it, but Tramennis calls it. Remains to be seen if it'll work, looks like the shock treatment took out most of their stack. So, we have grizzled veteran who isn't too distracted by the flash, and something of a dirty old man dittomancer. Will this smash and grab succeed or will there be a price to pay?

It's becoming increasingly confusing just how aware the Erfworlders are of the bizarre limitations of their own world's ruleset.

Someone like Trammenis seems to grasp significant levels of combat duplicity, and yet Parson doing something as simple as movement cycling is a revolutionary concept. I guess I'm saying that while we previously thought of Parson as a true outsider, an individual who saw Erf in a way that no one else could see it, it's now becoming clear that he is merely slightly more clever and experienced than everyone else.

The dittomancer is based on "The Deadly Duplicator" from Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law that used to run on Adult Swim.

T has sword drawn and is ready, while O is still trying to draw his sword... I don't think O's going to manage much before being disabled (they have first strike on him), but T may manage a nasty physical counter on Ansom, give a quick thinking command to his casters, or at least save his own skin.

Frame 8: 4 archons firing shock while 2 in background ready to carry target away (similar to how 3 archons in book 1 were ready to carry Parson away). Frame 9 you see the displaced/fake version of the 2 ready to carry target away.

I wonder who is actually stronger (ie. higher level), Ossomer or Tramennis? One might assume Ossomer since he was made the Chief Warlord, but Tramennis is older and, from his reaction here, possibly more familiar with different tactics.
