I started to listen to these guys recently, and I've got to say they're... very strange. The video for this song is both disturbing and entertaining.
If you like this song, you probably like the albums Sung Tongs, Feels, Strawberry Jam and Merriweather Postpavillion too. They also have some nice E.P.'s inbetween the albums. But anything made before Sung Tongs is just not really worth listening to (unless noises, scratches en screeches are your cup of tea). Try Person Pitch by Panda Bear too, it's a solo project by one of the members.
At this moment I'm listening to the album Good Arrows by Tunng. But if anyone wants to hear something happy and fitting to spring I recommend Whistle - Sporto Kantès.
Voltaire and Creature Feature, lately. These are the two songs in particular im loveing most right now, and yes i realise they are INCREDIBLY different, both in theme and the actuil music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCx0N-_5wrQ Aim For the Head http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oMxckcYTg8 Feathery Wings, also please don't mind the anime clips in the video, only one i could find on youtube that isn't just a picture of the album cover, which is the artist shirtless
wich is tipical for my personal taste. I especcialy like metallica and within temptation in this part of all that I like, but I also like the editors, the kaiser chiefs, my chemical romance, fall out boy, U2, green day, unheilig, blof, wir sind helden, and many more bands and singers.
I'm not serious. I am never serious. seriously!
(please remember that I am a foreign speaker, and therefore make a lot of spelling & gramatic mistakes, and please don't pin me down on my exact formulation.)
I'd say what songs I'm playing but I suspect that would step over the line of acceptable language on the forum. Considering Bodycount is next, followed by Drawing Flies and NWA each with an obscenity in the title, and the Forgotten Rebels' Third Homosexual Murder is around the corner.
Right now I'm listening to Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At? (and just finished listening to NIN's Discipline) which I can mention safely enough
I've got media player on shuffle, which means the last few tracks (in the order that I remember them) have comprised 'Ringfinger' by nine inch nails, 'Numb' by portishead, 'Old Age' by hole/courtney love, 'Selig' by helium vola and 'Sex on Wheelz' by my life with the thrill kill kult has just started as I type this... which means you can probably guess my age (31) quite easily, lol
I tend to witter on, produce copious typos and run off on nonsensical tangents. If I've done this here, please forgive me I also get a bit obstinate and argumentative. If I'm not budging or understanding your counterargument call me on my manners
