Mmmm... I think I want to set every point to a nice sound 600.

The mine double chance is increased to a base of 3%

Mills give a .5% reduction to build costs.

Farms give 1% reduction to upkeep for units in the garrison.

600 sounds good. Is this going to be a retconjuration, or a fix from this point forward?

Farms did seem pretty anemic for me. I figured they'd be for a Side that didn't have access to any of the cool resource points.

To be fair, my wealth is actually the result of careful planning and natural allies, I actually only have 1 mine, plus 2 lumber mills.
This new way doesn't seem too bad though, though I agree Farms are lame. I think a stacking % per farm for the whole side would be more fitting. And the Mill buff should be higher I think.
Also, Kaed, this change (if implemented immediately) means a slight change to my Treasury at the end of turn, as I'm sure you realize. lemme know, and I'll make the proper adjustments.

Yeah, I bet you do, mister stacking all the upgrade discounts ever.

But fine. 1% per mill and that's as high as I'll go. That means 12% is the most anyone will ever get (because at level 5 they can't upgrade anymore)

RETCONJURATION TIME EVERYONE.

Fine by me, that's what I was thinking.
Kaed wrote:RETCONJURATION TIME EVERYONE.
Ummmm, how much Retconing? Just the current turn? or all the way back?

Oh dear god....you seriously hate me....do you have any idea how annoying it's going to be to go back and re-read where Victoria, Nalga, and the Cutebolds were on each turn, and recalculate my treasury accordingly? *grumble*

Fine, any of you can decide to just continue on as if the resource points just suddenly got better, but retconjuration is a net profit for ALL of you. Even you Oberon

This is true, I was actually just realizing this. Also, I assume that now all resource points cost 2 Flavor Points if you pop them as part of the city?

Yes, I was just about to mention that actually. That, and that all points now take 4 turns to make, will be a strictly From Now On thing, though.

And actually Nihila may wish to not retconjure, as she has only mines right now.

Nihila is a girl IRL?! That is kinda hilarious, since that would mean the 2 mountain sides are ruled by units of the opposite gender of their respective players (I am a guy, but my Ruler is a Queen, and Nihila is a girl with a King Ruler)

I suppose we could set up a betting pool as to whether Nihila is male or female. Any takers?

Hmm, a risky bet! Somebody's feeling lucky this fine evening! Come one, come all, bet your hard-earned virtual monies on the gender of Nihila, who could easily collaborate with someone to rig the contest and therefore make the betting pointless!

... I knew I should have invested in that salesmanship course.

Pff, you ought to be suing the people who misuse the word for, I don't know, slander or copyright infringement. For giving you the idea, I'll let you off easy with only a 10% "I thought of it first" fee.

Have any of you organizers considered actually letting Chief Warlords of respective sides be roleplayed by people?
Possibly under very specific conditions?
That way no problem arises whenever a chief warlord wishes to suggest longterm strategy in order to achieve some over-arching goals as posed by his or her leader.

Just a thought. Maybe I'm not even seening it right, but really it would, or could, work, although yeah, pottentially it would be exploitable.
Though maybe being creatively exploitable is what an ErfWorld game should be about.
