Doing a lot better once I decided to just start drawing little lines all over the map and to leave them there. Had a couple of problems with Hexographer, but this is just the usual learning curve stuff. Once I figure out how to do it efficiently, I'll feel less overwhelmed.

Have a play about with it and you'll get the hang of it in no time, yeah. If it helps, what I do is take a print screen and put it into paint to add little details that signify units and enemies. That, and shaving off the corners that their scouts didn't reach.

Nods, Paint helped a lot. Working on the Scouts and their line of sight is what gave me the most headache. Darn your urges to explore! DAMN THEM ALL!

(Of course, 70% of it was my fault, but I can overlook that for a while.)

*whistles innocently, trying to avoid meeting Metheg's eyes as I look at all zero of my scouts*

Seriously haha. I almost feel a little guilty now that you didn't get to preside over Morlock Wells haha. I've been popping very few units, ones with long production times. And exploration is not a priority for me yet. I'll send you a dossier :p

When Royals mix with Common sides... Things get interesting.

I think a certain barbarian knight is in line for being chewed out by his king. There's just certain ways Royal sides are supposed to comport themselves!

woah woah woah...this says SO much! Do I take this to mean that Monies has a CITY and can thus be called a King? Since Colonel isn't a Royal, I assume this is talking about Monies chewing out one of his own units. Or are we just being lose with our terminology and allowing Monies to think of himself as "The King Without a Kingdom"? :p

The latter.

I feel like Rob. I make an offhand comment and wild speculation spirals off into the stratosphere.

To give you all some perspective, we have Ralph, a knight in a royal side.

And we have Rookies, who behave like frat boys.

And then we have a keg with a tube, and people shouting CHUG CHUG

I'll let you fill in the rest of the details mentally.

Well now I feel kinda bad. I could have left it at telling shiek and house we have beds, but I had to go in and end things. Though, on the other hand, I'm not sure if the refreshment of dawn will cure the hangover he would have gotten if he downed that keg. Ultimately, I feel like there's more I need to learn about truly being royal, and properly understanding the divide between ruler and unit. Maybe it's because they're the only units I still have from Hi-Rule, but I might be treating them as if they were closer than they actually are. A royal heir, for example, I would be a party pooper for as said heir would have duties and standards to live up too. Knights, while similar, are more-so their own people and I shouldn't be so close to them.

Damn them for having names!

I tolerate my guy's frat boy antics as long as it does not affect the performance of their duties.

Yes, but you're also a bit more casual than Daphnes is. Eh, maybe it's something he'll adjust to somehow and have no real need to intervene.

I understand that the Puppy Courtier arranged a vuvuzela salute for his unlucky Ruler? Because, "According to the South African National Standard regulating occupational noise exposure in South Africa, no one within a 2-metre radius of a vuvuzela, including the person blowing it, should be exposed to it continually for more than a minute."

Hopefully, natural Healomancy will take care of this.

0beron has the best courtier. Some rulers are pleased to have subjects who can think outside the box.

Nalga turns the box inside out and declares he has x-ray vision now.

It takes a very special kind of mind to come up with such solutions to problems.
