Making a poll, deleting a post

Not all parts of the forum have the same set of functions available.

For example, I could try making a poll here- there's a poll creation tab below the text window in which I type this. OTOH, that tab lacks for topics started in "Everything Else Erfworld".

I can delete a post I made in Reactions, or Everything Else Erfworld. But I can't do this in the Your Games forum.

Is this intentional? If so, why? If not, can it be made so that polls can be made in "Everything Else Erfworld" (where they may be useful), and can it be made such that, wherever whoever posts something then changes their mind, they can delete the post?
