Wait, I'm confused... Is the prisoner being tortured or chatted to?

I think he means Lt. Dave.

To be honest, I think it should be obvious to Meter what is happening, even if he had stayed up in the air till now, so his actions are unrealistic.

I thought you had all walked away from him when I posted my actions.

I'm not interested in simulating torture, even for rpg purposes.

Hence why it has thus far been left vague.

...sooooo are we in agreement then that the prisoner is being tortured (in a total lack of detail) without any interference by Meter, pursuant to my plan to Turn him with Thinkamancy? (In other words pretend LT's most recent post in the game thread didn't happen?)

By all means. I honestly thought the others had walked away and left him alone, ready to croak him the next day.

Alrighty, I'll post his response tomorrow: I need to sleep off my birthday celebrations. Stay tuned.

To clarify, does that post include my turning efforts? My plan to hang back until he was very injured, and then magnify his sense of relief when I "come to his rescue" and motivate a Turning?

Yes, in a fairly summarised fashion. LTDave didn't want to go too far into details, and I don't blame him. In a nutshell, he didn't turn, although he was thankful for the relief. I could go further into it via PM, if you'd like.

To Everyone:

Also, I'm going to quite sparse in updates for the next few weeks: final exams for my final year of secondary school are upcoming, and I really ought to study. I'll try my best to get on and update, and I should be able to given that School ends tomorrow, but I shall be giving priority to my studies.

In more relevant news, I'm working on actually converting this game into a working, consistent RPTBSG (Role-playing Turn-based-strategy Game) with proper, accessible rules. I'll keep going under our current system until you guys take Plot (Or don't, however it turns out) and then I'll make the transition for Act 2. I'll start a thread for the rules discussions once they get underway, and will be looking forward to some feedback from you guys. ;)

Oh no I was definitely on the same page as LTDave, no further detail needed. Just the fact that he didn't take much real damage to Hits made me want to confirm. Assuming I've consumed all my juice on him as planned, then I'm done.

Ok, after that whisper, now I'm ACTUALLY done...just something he said gave me a final idea. We'll see if an honest tactic wins him over where tricks have failed. If not then he's dead....possibly by my own hand. Have we come to an agreement about who's gonna do it? Because it would be in-character for Ogmah to do it now if he doesn't turn, but I also don't wanna just be a dick and do it without permission.

Yeah. As I mentioned above, my final exams are currently underway, and I really need to focus on them. My last exam is tomorrow, however, so this should be kicking up again really soon.

Okay, wow, being an adult is crazy. And time consuming.

I'm back, boys and girls! My exams finished... nearly 3 weeks ago, wow. I've been busy as heck ever since, but I'm back, and ready to roll.

Roll call, who's still here? XD
