Nah, actually he should have had that line for Christmas but Santa and his elves have been besieged by the forces of the Easter Bunny Alliance since October. And then Santa only managed to get presents to about half of Erfworld before EBA anti-air croaked Rudolph and two other of his reindeer with a lucky shot just as he was landing to take in more presents, forcing him to stop early.

Considering that Book 1 wound up almost twice as long as Rob and Jamie originally thought it would be, you may have something here.

That was a very strong ending. It more than compensates for the way Parson dropped his discussion with Wanda. Well done, Rob!

Is Parson Erfworld's Muad'Dib?

Oh man... he totally is. Paul broke all the rules of the desert and the Lanserad (sp?), conquered everything, and completely changed the universe. He saw his path, full of bloodshead, but did it for the best possible future.

In the end perhaps Parson will be. But it won't be an so easy a path for Parson, once all the news and rumors starts marking the rounds. Other sides and coalitions will start to want their own Perfect Warlords. The smart side will be working on the Perfect Opponent to Stanley's Perfect Warlord. That's where I think we'll be seeing one or more of Parson's friends from their brief appearance. In particular I think we will definitely will be seeing Ashna as Parson's Perfect Opponent. I can almost see the storyline... (the rest withheld to protect my proverbial backside.)

Considering how Parson got the sword, what's to stop Erfworld from giving him more sword pieces during his meal times? Parson of course would throw them away, or maybe even just pass them out to his new army, creating legions of dual wielding warlords with leadership, combat, and ruthlessness?!?!

The sword was part of the spell to "fix" Parson. That is done, and the spell's duration has ended. I don't think "erfworld" can actively act to change Parson.

replying to Juroko, if u look at the gameboard way back before Parson ends up in Erfworld, it looks a LOT like Gobwin Knob.
I'm sure that im not the first person to notice, but i thought id put that out there.

I think it's just a saying. Just like if someone starts cheering "Hey, It's my birthday." when they win at something doesn't mean it really is their birthday.

While I doubt Erfworld will be sending another sword along, I doubt it's done trying to make Parson play by the rules. The decision to be a player would hardly be interesting if it wasn't fraught with difficulty.

I'm also one of the readers from post 1 at GiTP although I really am a lurker But I really liked this story and I'm glad they have decided to continue because it would be a shame if one of the most interesting comic stories I'm reading would not be finished.
Although I have my doubts that Erf will ever be finished with so much going on and nobody actually knows how big Erf is.
