I want it to be accurate... I'll do that to start, but maybe there's a feature on the program you use that tells you the size of the map?

The "World Map" I open with PAINT and then zoom in to see what the terrain type is in new discovered hexes. It does not run on my Hexmap Creator program because it is a BitMap file

Well if you really want to know. Its 132x117. This is from corner to corner and thus counting all the surrounding sea hexes.

I suppose that the edges of the map are Not crossable?

So instead of crossing the entire continent, I can make a water force to go the other ditrection and wind up on the other side of the map? MADNESS!! :D

Nah, I'm starting off as a generally peaceful group, at least until someone decides to attack me even with a warlord.

Speaking of, if we hav a warlord and come across unled units, can we somehow avoid engaging them, maybe pulling back and going around them to avoid angering whatever side the units belong to?

You guys are lucky I'm so patient and willing to GM for you at the cost of having fun playing with my own side XD

You could control naturaul allies?

And speaking of GMing I'd be willing to give it a shot next game, though I hope this game is to last for at least a few weeks. I want to reach City Level 4 before we end the alpha test.

Also, is there a CAP on the number of warlords we can have? Other than what our income allows?

And does the Overlord have any special rules when leading a stack that are different than a normal Warlord? Is the bonus bigger? Does he level up faster? Is his stat growth greater/lesser/the same?

Sorry if I have so many questions. I am a Database manager and Maintenance management analyst for the Air Force, so i tend to ask a lot of questions out of habit.

Questions are fine, I like questions. I hope it lasts a while too.

No cap on warlord, no special rules with Overlords - except that if they croak your side disbands/goes neutral unless you have an Heir Designate.

Also, you can't 'buy' a warlord or Heir Designate until you have finished production of at least one (popping a caster for your first warlord counts)

Just wondering because I know in erfworld a chief warlord gives a bonus on top of the normal warlord bonus to all units in the same hex, and then gives an additional bonus to his personal stack. We see this explained in Erworld Book one when the Transylvito warlords and Jillian block Stanley from escaping with his dwagons.

My, I should've paid more attention to this thread. I would have loved to play this game.

BTW, are you separating Dance-Fighting from Rocking Out? Because remember those are separate things in Erfworld. Well, according to Sammy and Stanley. I think I remember Sammy saying that he could Rock and his units could at least Headbang. Also, Stanley can Rock with his artifact.
Bored? Do you want more... ERF?! Check my fanfic story We Aren't Saints. C'mon, do it! You know you want to.

I read my readers!

ok y'know what, you can avoid engaging them but I have a stack of Tardy Elves headed for my farm, so I don't getthat option -_-" ah well, I suppose it can't be helped. but I am so zetta eager to get my next turn.

A stack of Tardy elves? I haven't encountered any natural allies and I've explored a good deal... I think. Oh well. Either Way I should be able to handle most things that get in my way. My city is about to hit Level 2, as soon as I'm allowed to resume taking turns.

We forgot to send him an early encounter, so he is under attack by tardy elves. They have no warlord though, so no natural allies for him.

Ah. The coolest thing that's happened to me so far was finding that Volcano. I need to build a city near it so I can a mine going. How long does it take to build a Lv1 City?

As I see it... just pop.

You do have to keep 15 hexes distance from one other city... Which makes it kind of hard to find good city spots :).

You mean it blocks the image files? D:

And I checked your volcano - you can reach it with a city, but the city will have to reach like, level 3-4 before the Zone can cover it.

That's ok, It's all long term planning anyway. Prometheans think of the impact their actions might have 50 turns from now.
