In the Southeastern area of the map, there are two islands that slant from the northwest to the southeast, running almost parallel to each other. These are what I want to deal with right now.
Tarial swoops down over these two islands, contemplating how he can modify them for his great race. Each individual isle is too small for his purposes, so he decides to join them together. From the northern tips of both islands land begins to extend out, joining in the middle of the channel. In the resulting bay he calls forth a massive volcano, greater than any seen on previous worlds. The peak of its cone protrudes into the clouds and mixes the water vapor with smoke. Now he returns to his land mass. The whole miniature continent becomes rocky and barren, protected from the sea my sheer cliffs of gray stone. The only exception is a small beach that leads into the bay.
The stone of the land is soft, and easy to tunnel through. In fact, many natural tunnels do exist. The subterranean depths of the continent are filled with iron, bronze, and rubies. The volcano stores rich deposits of gold.
