I'm deliberating which of these would make a better (de)motivator/slogan, based on this page:
Jetstone: Not risking mission-critical units on side goals since not long enough ago.
-- or --
Gobwin Knob: Failing to put themselves in the mindset of their opponent ever since Parson stepped down.

Dear Sir or Madam, I do believe that you are trying too hard. May I be so bold as to suggest-

"Jetstone does not rock"?
The whole point of this is lost if you keep it a secret.

Technically the term is "card sharp" rather than "card shark". But like misheard lyrics ("Don't bring me down, Bruce!") its is so frequently misused as to have gained a life on its own.

I wonder if Tram will get some key-lime salad before all is said and done. He's the tastiest target.

So Tramennis is Jetstone's diplomat. Doesn't surprise me, but good to know.
Nice update. Tramennis facing his comrads is a sad thing. Tankaroo made laugh.
I never liked the new Pooh from Disney. It's classical from the sixties for me. But, oh well, depends on which you grew up with, I guess.
(and yeah, I highly enjoyed Shaun of the Dead.)

I think therefore I am. This leaves you in a bad spot.

Army inteligence is sadly an oximoron these days. And no General, I did not just call you a cow.

What are the semi-invisible cat things?

I don't think they're accounted for, but nobody else has mentioned it so I must be misallocating them.

LFN = elephant thing.

tankaroo - kangaroo

G-Raf = giraffe thing

clothgolems = cloth golem teddy bears

Are the sourmander the see through cat things? Is that like a gummy bear cat?

Sourmanders are salamanders. Tchetchkies are the glass animals. They are from book 1.

He will find Tremenis.

I thought they were supposed to be invisible. Wanda and Ansom look similar when they came in cloaked.

It is "Big Ugly Fat Fellow". BUFF

Any guesses as to what the initials stand for in Erf?

I'm a little disappointed there are no ROUS's

LFN - Lots of Flattened iNfantry
G-RAF Grounded Relative Altitude Fighters

Tram's doing exactly what he should do if he's going after the infantry. Unfortunately the only high value target for Ford to go after will be Trammenis...

edit:
Of course, he could have worked that out and could be the bait in the trap to get Ford to commit his led stacks

That's not it. Luck is preparation. Ford is prepared to get lucky. There was no guarantee that Jetstone was going to cooperate, but if the situation arose that the battle went any way other than "by-the-numbers ground down to nothing to no effect", Ford was ready to capitalize on it.

Enough with the "Your plan didn't work/the enemy didn't follow the script = you're !fail/a loser who deserves to lose" fallacy (or "plot-hax!", if there's too much built up goodwill to say the previous about somebody).

Just as well, one does not simply rock into Gobwin Knob.

Tramennis seems to have an appropriately skeptical view of Jill's reliability.
They could not possibly win. Every man knew this with certainty, and lo it was glorious.

Yes, the glass animals do indeed seem to be Tchotchkes. Its a word that tends to mean cheap, tacky trinkets and baubles - just like little dollar store glass animal figurines in real life.

Book 1 shows that they can show up as different animals than cats, there were some unicorns and a giraffe tchotchke as well.

LFN as an acronym stands for "Long File Name". When LFNs aren't supported, they're TRUNKated. Erm I mean truncated.

So 2 warlords per 1 stack of heavies. i didn't think leadership bonus could combine like that. is there an upper limit to how many types of bonus's you put on a stack at once?

I knew what they were thanks to the Glass Menagerie, a very lovely play.

Chief warlord bonus and warlord bonus should add. Even if the rest get one bonus doubling would prevent any stack becoming unlead if one warlord croaks. Warlords can also fight.

They can also get the stack bonus. If the dollomancer came along the cloth golems would get a bonus for them too. It is not clear the dittomancer can double the bonuses. Undead and decrypted can get a bonus for croakamancers. Artifacts like the arkentools also give a bonus.
