This must have been difficult to reason out in a mind like Maggie's. Or maybe not since in her mind Parson was always the one to have for chief warlord. But to actually cast a suggestion spell on her Overlord sounds like loyalty bells ringing.
No no, don't you get it? She didn't just cast it on him because she felt it would be best - a spell like that on one's superior would strain even the bounds of Loyalty.

got permission from him to put a suggestion on him! That was probably the single craftiest, cleverest, most underhanded move in the entire Erfworld conflict to date!
(Also, the smug look on Maggie's face on the last panel was excellent.)
