And now, pop allocation:
I haven't allocated any. I have an idea for what we need, but your permission is required.
At 140 points, we (barely) have enough for 2 Twains. It is my belief that we need those Twains; both of them.
We require reinforcements in the field. However, if we pop something now, unless it's carried by a Twain, it won't get there too fast. Yes, this delays popping any carriable unit by 1 turn, but with Twains, it makes no difference to when the unit actually gets there.
The kind of reinforcements is also key. We might trickle Field Guns or Huwwies or other large units, but Minotaurs and Fussiliers/Wion Hunters delivered to the front lines fast is probably better.
We could get 2 new Huwwies to the gates of Gobwin Bump in (I think) about 4 turns, if we pop them now. In that same time-frame we can get, as an example, 18 Wion Hunters. (The previous analysis disregards such complications as variable pop point grants from the GM).
Please advise.
