That was from when I made my error and forgot the fort defence bonus. 60 would have been how much attack was left in that stack, when I edited with corrections I missed that bit.

C8: Dixon and Dwakvir and Dwakon Knight mount Twain, Twain moves to B5.

C7: Field Gun moves to B5, Heavy Aimursa stays with it.
C5: Ewephant moves to B5.

Right, unfortunately all remaining units (except Risun and 2 Kanites) were with Team Insertion. We had a bit of a bad roll there (merely 60%). To think that we could have taken out a Gowem! Oh well.

As it stands, the enemy lost, I think, 4 GTwolls and a Commander, versus our casualties of 1 Huwwie (so far ...). No, it's not exactly a fair exchange, let's see what happens on their turn though.

Okay, I was going to ask Nihila for his orders, but since those are done, I'll do defensive stacking. Meaning, next post I'll suggest orders, leave about half a day for comments and suggestions, then apply any changes and make them official, ending turn.

Defensive stacking:

All of our Heavies (15+ MaxHP units with 5 Def) in a stack. Minotaurs first. Demonowiths (with full health), Ewephant, Demonowith (wounded), Siege Tank etc, Warlords. Excellent that we have three level 4s now!

(EDIT: why Minotaurs first? Two reasons: a) offense-wise, better lose two Minotaurs than an Ewephant and b) we can bring Minotaurs forward fast(er) than we can replace our other heavies. Let's hope our casualties are not too big, in any case).

The other units, for the most part, are expendable and we can stack each of them individually. Aka, stack spam. The problem with that is that, actually, we only want to have about 4 stacks in GB, so that each will get attacked once. Maybe twice or so, if GB summons new troops by popping.

This means we have several troops with some move left (list coming up, but I know for sure the Axemen and Dwarven Champions have move left- they were mounted). The idea is to fan these in hexes around GB, and stack-spam those hexes. We don't want ... external reinforcements ... to complicate matters.

Finally, did anyone mention that our reinforcement heavies need to get their butts moving to GB?

Right, units with move:

All these units have at least 1 move left: 7x Axe Dwarf, 2x Kanite Militant, 2x Dwarf Champion, 2x Mehian Spearman, 2x Mehian Crossbower (one Mehian Spearman went on his own power, no move left as a consequence).

Therefore, we can chose from among these units to fan out in the hexes to the SE, E, NE of GB.

With the intelligence on the Golmons, the Risun Mathamancer has sent our Coalition a rather hasty report, on a possible attack on the Golmons, if the Golmons form a single stack.

Lokarat can deal up to 78 damage to the Duke's stack, but the Duke will deal at least 34 damage to the Golmons.

We'll take heavy casualties if we attack, but the ranged attack alone will account for the entire stack (5 Knights with 5 HP=25, 1 Hawk with 1 HP=26, Lokarat with 4 HP=30).

I must have been asleeep, but other than breaking side with us, did the Golmons actually declare war upon us? I see no reason to attack them an incite a possible war with yet another side, especially when we have no knowledge of thier cities and how far away he has reinforcements and such.

That's where Az's post went... took long enough for me to find.

Also, the Golmon Knights are horrible things to fight, with maxed out defense, high move, and 8 attack, and they're ranged. It's just better for us to hunt them down before they reach the city.

Only the first 8 units in the stack count correct so thats:

The result is the same though last Garrison Twoll dead and an injured Gowem, except it has 27 hits left not 7. (And the 7 was wrong anyway 27 - 10 needed to kill the Garrison Twoll left 17 damage to the Gowem leaving it on 13HP's)

Secondly I know we lost a Huwwicane, but is it still worth having one of the four stacks to be a ranged one?
