Wha....? A 2nd level Chief warlord walking alone in the middle of an enemy zone? I have trouble seeing how that could be a good idea. But at least Parson's again doing what he does best : confusing the crap out of his own subordinates.
I wonder if he'll walk up on Ace and Cobbins just as they're finished with their "ultimate gizmo". Watch the hilarity ensue!![]()
Maybe he plans to bring Sizemore and Maggie along. He could have them link up and collapse Spacerock on the ground units' heads.

But chief warlords get another bonus for being in the same hex (and for units in the same group, but I'm ignoring that for the moment)... and my guess is parson's is HIIIIGH! That's how he was able to do so well with fewer troops. [As evidenced by Caesar Borgata and the doombats, they spoke of him being in the hex made them infantry, etc]
Think about it? It's one more reason why his tactics were more effective against overwhelming force in the first book. If my idea is right, then Parson getting out to the combat, and being in the same hex, is a great idea and not just taking care of his feelings.
Thoughts?

Or skip it and include it in the book.
Parson getting a bit snippy and suddenly going all warlord on Maggie. Nice show and effect for the transition from garrison to field unit.

But when Parson levels... Titans help Erfworld, because he's gonna own it all.
Sidenote: I wonder if that's what the Grandmaster Hippiemancer meant about making war for peace.

I think that it works something like, 1/3 of the chief warlords level as bonus for all units in his side, plus 1/3 for units in his hex (or capital), plus 1/3 for units in his stack (or in his capital)
so, any units in the capital get a bonus equivalent to his level, as do any units in his stack outside the capital, but everyone else gets a much smaller bonus.

A "don't make war, or a fat guy with a mean-looking hamster on his chest will come to your capital to beat the crap out of you" kind of peace? If so, Janis gets points for original thinking.
