How far are you guys in tun wise? I don't think a stopping point was every stated, and playing till one side is destroyed might take a few more weeks.

We're on turn 15, I'm currently waiting on turn 15-20 orders from thetobias. He seems to be pretty busy lately, which is why the test is taking so long- I usually pop out the update and ask for the next round of turns the same day I've received both orders, but thetobias has been responding fairly slowly.

If you want me to take over, it would probably be better if I join rather than start over, just to help things along faster.

Not to say I'm not willing, because I am, but I think you may want to run his turns if he's taking too long. This is going to happen every now and then, and the GM does need to know when to step in and take over for the player for a little while. I would like thetobias to second it, in case it was only a week/weekend delay.

The only reason I don't want to take over Thetobias' turns quite yet is because we never set a time limit for turns. We should've, but we didn't, so I'd feel bad doing that. Then again, this could be some sort of test where I'm supposed to come to that on my own. . I'll run his next 5 turns tommorow if he hasn't responded by then.

At turn 20 I have a level 3 capital and two level 2 cities.

We have 9 players and 5 GMs signed up to play the game.

I think only 3 GMs and 6 Players will take part in the game at any given time, and as players quit/go inactive/are wiped out, new players will be cycled in.

Also, as far as the current test goes, I think if Thetobias defaults for the second round in a row, we'll have to consider restarting.

Restarting would be fairly easy at this point. I can use the first 20 turns without making any changes.

On Turn 21, it appears that an Enemy Ruler (HerbieRai) has refused my overtures of peace, and I plan to launch an attack on him. This is likely to be the end of the pre-beta test.

Pre-beta test is done. Going to run a combat test with a couple of willing volunteers once I get the spreadsheet fixed. Then we can try to run an actual 6-person game of this.

I was trying to see if there was interest in another GMd game like the original TBfGK (see my other thread), but... no one seems around (except Shioiba and you guys).
