What's going to happen to the nations that drop out? (Especially since my ally just dropped out, I'm debating declaring war to - wait, nvmd cool-down rule. :( )

But since we've lost about half the players, I'm somewhat concerned. :S

I might be able to step in for one of the people who dropped, if there are no objections.

I'm sorry but I just had to drop. I already informed LTDave that i couldn't see the map at the start of the game. I asked him to mail me a map, but he didn't even bother replying, so I kinda lost the urge to play.

Zilfallon, I thought I did email you that map. Sorry if I forgot.
Spoiler: show
In fact I did send it, I see from my sent box. On 12 January. zilfallon at the hotmail dot com, yes? Eitherway. Sorry.

Everyone, I went AFKWOL for a week or so there, and I'm kinda back and kinda not.

This game turns out to be one of the three classic blunders:
1. Don't get involved in a land war in Asia
2. Don't go up against a Sicilian when Death is on the line, and only slightly less well known:
3. Don't volunteer to GM a game when you're trying to have a life in the real world as well.

And maybe a 4th classic blunder:
4. Remember that every game is at least four times as time consuming as you imagine it will be.

My apologies to all my disappointed forumiends.

Back to something SIMPLER... When I get some more inspiration...

After reading this game, I have thought about running a game with somewhat the same ruleset as this game since it looks rather enjoyable. :) So do not be feared, a similar game might just pop up on this forum one of these days.

(That is, if Dave give me permission to use his ruleset. :P)

Note however that I have seen many games fall because of the time the GM has to spend. So I will be limiting the amount of players and the size of the map. But all that in due time.

Gz!
