I don't normally comment here, but I just want to remind everyone that I want it to be possible to read the comic pages alone and understand the plot. This page does rehash a bit of material from the texts for that reason. But hopefully it's still exciting. I heard orchestral action-movie music as I was lettering.

Parson FINALLY went through the portal? Yay!

I know it's been, like, 20 minutes in Erfworld, but it seems like it's been almost a year that he's been sitting there in the GK portal room.

The red-eyed-knight in panel three is obviously Charlie, adding another piece of evidence to my (now proven) theory that it wasn't a remote link-up at all. Charlie walked into Spacerock...just like Parson is about to! What a surprise that'll be when Charlie tries to escape!

Well, although I wish there was a way to avoid rehashing, that's just something we've gotta live with. I love the text updates, so I suppose it just goes to prove that you can't have your comic and eat it too...

The twist? Parson disbands when he walks through the portal this time. Whoops.

Oooh, we have 3 different knight eye colors; blue(standard), tan on the helmless guy-the same as Maggies?, and maybe red(could be the faceplate) which might indicate some kind of brezerker special, possibly from the dollamancer?

Loving the detail on the helms, sets them apart, and gives them a bit more character than the grunts. I'm wondering if the knights are popped as such or just higher-level soldiers given the title of knight.

Nice to see more of the GMtTA-wonder how all all of the casters are going to react to Parson again-last time he was nearly apprehended, although he does have some degree of surprise on his side this time and a whole mess of thinkamancers on his side to...stall, distract, and/or mindwipe any opposition, or maybe persuade them not to get involved?

Either way the trip home is going to be fun, however THAT happens.

Seems possible. Not really from the trap per se, but from the stairs. This is unlikely of course, because it would be incredibly anti-climactic, but it's not unheard of for people here in Stupidworld to die or get maimed by falling down a flight of stairs, so on Erf you probably have to make a saving throw every time you step downstairs. Given that many units walk hundreds of stairs every turn, the modifier for death/incapacitation chance must be inscrutably small.

I do love the art in this one a lot. The hamster skin hat is also great; it makes Lord Hamster seem both more and less serious.

Thats one small step for a hamster, one giant leap for Gobwin knob.

It's been 13 comics since Parson first unquestionably stated his intention to attack Spacerock through the portals. In those 13 strips, he's moved about 3 feet. If there weren't a ton of other stuff going on, I might be a little annoyed. Maybe.

I saw it as more of a victory pump. Kinda a little "FINALLY" moment for all the folks that wanted to see it. Sketch parson is victorious in doing it already!

I JUST realized something. My story instincts tell me the only villain that could be honestly scary to our hero is one also from the "real world."

Charlie is currently the only person I can think of who qualifies, but if not him, I predict down the road someone else poofs into Erfworld. What do you guys think about Charlie's nebulous identity? A small Wizard of Oz hiding behind the machine or a real player and true match for Parson himself?
