Stack Y [f9] 2 Twoll Stabber, 6 Gobwin Stabbers, Commander Pozka Lvl 2 (Dancefighting) 90H, 64A, 26D

Stack Y should be 78H, 44A, 34D.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I hope to cwoak this stack.

Note to my team mates: I plan to end turn with all my forces on G9 and a 16 point wall.

No, I'm pretty happy with Stack Y's stated stats.
Twoll Stabbers are 21H, 20A, 1D, 2M.
Gobwin Stabbers are 8H, 4A, 4D, 2M.

Alright then:

Popping: 40 + 5 (left over) = 45
pop 3 christmas critters 45 - 36 = 9 pts left over

freddies stack moves to G9

3 christmas citters stack with 4 christmas critters and move to G8

Darth Vader destries fort beaver and uses lookamancy at Gobo port

Thanks HerbieRai, that makes 2 stacks at G8. Not much but decent. I wonder if I can pop a couple more units (note- using the pop points I had at the start of turn, battle spoils not included).

Or if another stack may be coaxed from Little Bump to G8. The SG have quite a few pop points stored, if Wivingston's stack doesn't get in too bad a shape after the GB turn, I think I could pop some expeditionary force to help take Gobport.
The whole point of this is lost if you keep it a secret.

Okay, so Queen Lucy and her mouse stabbers never popped. No problem.

I have 161 pop points.
Pop 4 Centaurs for 140 points. 21 for the bank.

Stack the 4 new centaurs with the 3 Centaurs already at GB and then move them to G9.

Also move all Nawnian forces in G8 to G9.

Now Queen Jadis and her 8 Centaurs move to Littl Bump and engage Stack Y [f9] 2 Twoll Stabber, 6 Gobwin Stabbers, Commander Pozka Lvl 2 (Dancefighting) 90H, 64A, 26D

Ok, two things outstanding.

WXN is approaching Gobwin Bump. So some defenses there are not a bad idea, but overall, it doesn't seem too dangerous a situation for us yet.

More interesting is that we can see Gwegow the Gweat in the field. And once more, just within Wivingston's reach. What level is Gwegow anyway?

Apart from that, seems fairly obvious. The Nawnian siege must remove the Little Bump walls, then we have quite a lot of stacks nearby to wear down or outright eliminate everything inside, without use of the Diwigibles.

Yes, I'm thinking following Gwegow may not be the smartest thing. Where's the fella goin? What's there to be found? The thing is though that a) the Diwi stack can wipe out those Spidew Riders with nary a scratch and b) while it can be taken out of the sky, it will destroy anything that can take away its oneshot wonder. I'm seriously thinking the risk is worthwhile.

The SG now have 372 + 40 = 412 pop points.

PS: LTDave, the SG stack at G8 has 3 Diwigibles, not 2. I popped an extra one last turn, and brought it to G8 (did NOT use it in the attack on the Twoll Guns however).
The whole point of this is lost if you keep it a secret.

Re: Return to Gobwin Bump

Postby BLANDCorporatio » Fri May 27, 2011 3:09 pm

I'm leaning towards that course of action, but I'd like a modicum of safeguards.

Specifically, one of two things. Either one other stack to go to D9, or an assurance that Gobwin Bump will be held, even without new SG units. (As a side-note, it's likely that next turn I'll have (est.) 600 points. This would make it possible to restore the starting SG force, in case of catastrophic losses. However, the SG stack right now is way, way more expensive than 600 points! 3*205+2*43+5*35+150 = 1026 points. That's without the L1 scout.)

In any case, I'd like a "scout bridge" from C9 or D9 all the way to Little Bump. Wivingston has an L1 scout along, so as long as the L4 scout from Evil Imagination Land is at G9, or F10/F9/F8 or even H8, things should be fine.

Apart from that, it seems like we have enough stacks to attack everything in LB once. If that can be done, it would be super.
The whole point of this is lost if you keep it a secret.

Barring some extremely bad luck, it looks like the forces of Isenlard are going to have some fun with those forces from Gobport. Brings out the horrible design of my 20a/5d baconrogs though. More on this later

Okay, now is the time for action.

Popping: 26 stored + 40 from this turn = 66.

Popping 1 uruk ham archer for Saruham's stack (19) and 2 Pikers for Lardz (36) leaving 11 points for future turns.

Lardz's forces are going to attack the archers on E6.

Lardz's forces deal damage, taking none in return. Lardz is now lvl 2.2, after killing one archer, and wounding one to 3/7.

Now Saruham attacks stack W (even thoguh they are identical).
