What features and fixes would you like to see here at erfworld.com?

Next Page link / Nav at bottom of comic pages

In the Archive, I keep hunting for the 'next page' link after reading to the bottom of a page. It's a bit awkward to have to go back up to the top.

Little beta stuff, I know the first priority is getting everything working first. I like the site overall!

Hi, That function (bottom nav links) is actually a feature of the gallery that we can enable (I know, I wrote it for the exact reason you mention) so we can easily do that.

UPDATE: Bing, now enabled.

Some minor points.

There is no first/last comic links for the archive.

When you click the top banner, it should bring you back to the home page.

There is no 'latest comic' link on the main page. Also, ideally, this should be linkable with something like "www.erfworld.com/latest" or "www.erfworld.com/comic". That makes it easier to bookmark :).

Also, the page seems non-optimised for wide-screen monitors. There is lots of blank space on either side of the comic. I dunno if this is just because it is different from giantitp where the top banner covers the entire screen and it is just a matter of getting used to it. (In fact, I looked at a few other web comics and none of them take wide-screen into account ... so guess it is just that it is different from the previous site).

Hi, the eventual goal of the site is to have the comic appear on the main page, so that will de facto be "the latest comic" page. Right now we're holding the archive only until Book 1 ends it's run at Giantitp.com. We might add in the banner->home link. The layout of the site was based on a design by Jamie, so that's the way we went. It's easier to have a fixed width site in some ways since we know that the elements of the page will always look a certain way. We actually use a bigger site design than many who are set for 800 X 600, but it's true that there is alot of space out there if you have a big monitor.

I wouldn't mind a fixed layout if only you'd get rid of that brown. Maybe replace it with another shade of blue.
Read, like there won't be a movie
Game, like the die rolls don't matter
Filk, like everyone is tone deaf anyway
