Awesome! Now for defense.

pop 8 imperial stabbers - 112
145 - 112 = 33 points left
Will donate 33 points to isenlard (it's not much, but it should keep you going for a turn)
Restacking 25 peasants into groups of 5

I move 3 groups of 5 pikers to E3 and the 8 conscripts. The conscripts guard the Zekers and one of the peasant stacks guard the fliers.

Move 8 imperial stabbers plus 8 peasant pikers to D3. imperial stabbers get in stacks of 4 while pikers are in 8 individual stacks. Freddy is stacked with the 3 remaining peasants in Gobwin Hollow

End unit report

E3:
8 conscript archers guarding zeker (80 hits, 16 A, 64 D)
5 peasant pikers guarding Diplomat Stefan (10 hits, 10 A, 0 D)
5 peasant pikers (10 hits, 10 A, 0 D)
5 peasant pikers (10 hits, 10 A, 0 D)

D3
4 imperial stabbers ( 24 hits, 16 A, 8 D)
4 imperial stabbers ( 24 htis, 16 A, 8 D)
peasant piker 1 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 2 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 3 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 4 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 5 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 6 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 7 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)
peasant piker 8 (2 hits, 2 A, 0 D)

Gobwin Hollow
2 peasant pikers (4 htis, 4 A, 60 D)

Tiger - separate 1 or 2 guys out of the main stack into separate stacks. Have them forage the same hex separatly. Then you'll get 40 + 4d5 (main stack) + 40 + 1d5 (stack 2) + 40 + d5 (stack 3). You'll end up with 80 more income and as long as your outside our cities ZOC you'll won't do any harm.

Hey Everybody! I was wondering if I could join in on your game. My side? iMeme. Our forces include the mighty ROFLCOPTERS, Rick Rollers, BadgerX12, lolz, Shakepikes, Dakka gunners, the Knights of Go? Ok! riding flying treadmills, and the conflicting forces of pirates and ninjas.

Hi Reginald.
Thanks for your interest, but our game is full at the moment. We have 8 players, which is the most I can cope with as GM.
Please keep ane ey on the game, however - if someone drops out we might have an extra place.
There are also sure to be more games on this forum in the short term future.

For the rest - this turn will end in 12 hours from this post - 7am AET. Still waiting to hear from Twoy on the specifics of finance arrangements.

I missed this part of LTDave's post:

The Nation will have a treasury equal to 100 per player, + 40 per open hex within 2 of a city (not counting i5, unless you want to start a war with the C-Elfs straight away!).

Which means we have 1080 points that could be spent and used this turn.

I think Nihila posted that he used 198 of those 1080 which would leave 882 extra. I just don't have time to come up with a plan before the turn ends. If someone can use those 882 points to kill some of our enemies before the turn ends, feel free to do so.

Previous accounting post wrote:Turn 0.
Starting Army funds: 500 * 4 Players = 2000
Initial Army costs: 485 (Herbie Rai) + 490 (Bland) + 492 (Twoy) + 490 (Nihila) = 1957
Remaining Starting Army Fund: 43

Initial Treasure: 100 * 4 Players + 40 * 17 Open hexes = 400 + 680 = 1080

Final Turn 0 Funds: 1123.

Turn 1:
Carried over funds: 1123
Unit upkeep: -150.7
Funds to be spent on unit popping this turn = 972.3

Income from cities: 40 * 18 Open Hexes = 720.

Final Turn 1 Funds: 1692.3

Turn 2:
Carried over funds: 1692.3
Unit upkeep: -150.7
Income from cities: 40 * 18 Open Hexes = 720
Total Treasury: 2261.6
Funds to be spent on unit popping this turn = 1541.6

Unit's popped = 148 Twoy + 198 Nihila + 70 HerbieRai = 416
Remaining funds that can be spent on unit popping = 1125.6

Funds allocated to barbarians = 255 Dothwaki + 60 Scarlet tribe = 315
Total Treasury = 1530.6
Remaining funds that can be spent on unit popping = 1125.6
Projected Upkeep for next turn using currently popped units: 187.3

LTDave is it 100 pop points per city level of units that can be popped each turn, or 200?

Additional information (assuming 100 points a turn) of the 1125.6 pop points left to spend:
Points that can be spent in Gobwin Bump: 500-148-198 = 500-346 = 154.
Points that can be spent in Gobwin Hollow: 200 - 70 = 130.
So of the 1125.6 pop points you can potentially spend 284.

Turn 2 Update:
Total Treasury: 1530.6
Funds to be spent on unit popping this turn = 1125.6 (284 remaining that can be popped this turn due to city limits)
Projected Upkeep for next turn using currently popped units: 187.3

Unit Popping: 112 HerbieRai
Funds allocated to barbarians: 33 Isenlard.

Total Treasury = 1385.6
Remaining funds that can be spent on unit popping = 1013.6
Points worth of units Gobwin Bump can pop: 154
Points worth of units Gobwin Hollow can pop: 18
Projected Upkeep for next turn using currently popped units: 198.5.

Suggestions for Twoy/The Kingdom:
1)You can't pop as many units as you have funds to spend, so might as well be generous to your barbarian allies
2)Because of the errors I suggest each Kingdom player reset themselves to 0 funds, and next turn if Twoy wants to spit the funds between each player he does so out of the total Kingdom funds.
Personally doing 2), I'd recalculate total kingdom funds at the end of each turn, and allocate fresh each turn start, instead of allocating to each Kingdom player and having each of them track funds individually.

I'm fairly certain it is 200 points per city level. That means we can pop 330 more points in Gobwin's Hollow.

In Gobwin's Hollow, I will pop 8 Eww Archers for 208 points and a warlord cwoakamancer, sir Jimmy, for 100 points.

If it's 200 per level, you have 218 left as HerbieRai popped more units there. I don't know if characters cost towards that limit either. LTDave

Yes, that initial post was unclear and contradictory. I'm going to go with 200 per level, and characters and scouts don't count towards that.

Eitherway, I'm going to have to end turn so we can get moving on the next day...

The Grennen Turn 2 begins with a roar of disbelief that is heard echoing around the valley.
"Barbarian Scum in our territory! Not likely!"

The (f)Fox stack in A6 splits into 4 stacks of 2 Foxes each - they attack the Foragers in B5,B6,C6,&C7

The Foragers can't do any damage to the Foxes, who can't fail but to kill the Foragers, so we won't roll. Those foragers are cwoaked.

A single Fox appears in the sky over Saruham's stack and drop a simple message before departing:
"This hex is Territory of the Grennen. Do not enter or forage here. This is the only warning you will recieve."

Queen Jadis,
It appears that your Barbarians do not respect our borders. The hex i4 is clearly territory of our nation. Further intrusions could be taken as provocation.
Respectfully Yours, etc etc."

Units restack, commanders use foolamancy to increase defence
----

Final Dothwaki status:
D3 (has been foraged twice):

11 (c) Dothwaki Riders, Scout Jhogo (Rating 4), Khal Dwogo Foolamancer Lvl 2.1 (104H 69A 20D)
(Totals include foolamancy)

E3 (has been foraged once):
8 (p) Swaves (16H, 16A, 0D)

D5 (has been foraged twice):
1 (p) Swave (2h, 2a, 0D)

Dothwaki Purse 268:
Projected Upkeep next turn:123.6

Questions for LTDave:
1) Obviously ravaged hexes recovery after a random amount of time, when do foraging actions recover? Or do we have to ravage a hex for it to recover back to being forage-able 3 times?
2)Considering the asynchronous nature of players taking orders I'm assuming the 8 stacks per hex limit only applies at end of turn, so we can each move units around assuming we achieve that limit at turn end.

Notes for my allies:
I fully expected to lose more units than that, and not have to upkeep so many next turn. Still any pop points the kingdom provides will become more riders to attack barbarians.

LTDave if we kill Commander Blinky do we wipe out the Arthurians, as they no longer have any commanders?

----

Queen Jadis the Dothwaki begin the slaughter of your enemy, while we did not slay as many as we would have liked, this was but our warm up and future turns will be more bloody. Still we have opened the way to the Arthurian Commander, go and strike him down

As I feel like being nice:

Kingdom Turn 3:
Carried over funds: 1077.6
Unit upkeep: -219.3
Income from cities: 40 * 18 Open Hexes = 720
Total Treasury: 1578.3
Funds to be spent on unit popping this turn = 1077.6
Points worth of units Gobwin Bump can pop: 1000
Points worth of units Gobwin Hollow can pop: 400
