I was thinking the same thing. Poison Ivy would certainly be a florist in Erfworld. Some other delayed kiss-of-death thing could work as well, considering toxic signamancy might be tricky to create.

Tommy dead? So this is how it ends. Unexpectedly, not in a last and epic standoff and failure against Fate and multiple enemies, with Wanda having to run to the magic kingdom as her family is torn apart by enemies, like i was hoping for.

I'm guessing she gets captured... and the rest is history, as they say.

One thing of note about the hippymancers: With their stalling abilities, they are as deadly/far more deadly than some other caster classes. While they prevent the main enemy forces from fighting in the name of "peace", other enemy regiments can go wild on other cities, which is exactly what's happenning. Peace my arse.

That was my thought too. The story is being told from Wanda's perspective and Wanda is life-blind. So we probably will not find out.

Hmmm, I'm thinking... Maybe goodmitton didn't have an heir delegated even tho the king effectively had a son and a daughter (kind of like how the recent prince needed to be delegated heir for jetstone even tho he was a prince). Soo my thought is that the capital fell or was being captured and the king in a last effort to save at least one of his offspring signed the ready made deal to trade wanda to the other side and spare her the fate of tommy and the rest of his kingdom. Thus fulfilling the predictamancy and ensuring the destruction of wanda's side as predicted.

When exactly do warlords outside cities become barbarian upon the fall of their capital? We know the Wack from Faq became barbarian as a result of it, but apparently Queen Bea's just disbanded when the same thing happened.

Either way, I don't think they just keel over like that. I always imagined disbanding to be depopping, vanishing into thin air-like, not croaking.

It can't be the end, she's in the field, no one will have a chance to capture her if her side ends now. Unless she was popped as heir of course and nobody's told her(they may be assuming Caster's can't rule). So either the Capital is held, or she's going to be a barbarian on her next turn.

I suppose she could turn willingly before the turn ends, but captured? That she can't be, not here, not now.

A side turns barbarian when they still have a Ruler (or heir), but they lose all their cities. Jillian was an heir, but Faq was taken, so she and her units turned barbarian. Queen Bea didn't have an heir (her daughter was croaked and decrypted by Wanda), so as soon as she committed suicide her entire side ended.

Maybe caster are immune to side ending side effect.

But they don't leave bodies. That was the point of Bea's sacrifice, to avoid leaving bodies.

Could he have been disbanded? Do we know if disbanded units just disappear, or if they just drop dead?

I don`t know, Tommy seems to be one of the main reasons why Wanda is still fighting Fate and not turning, so conspiracies might be in place to just make the King "remove" that obstacle... The Sides attacking the capital might be working for Haffaton... And demanded that? Not likely that the King would do it without talking to him first, but... We'll see.
