Numma To is going to shout for a heal, then precise shot W, unless the mage "T" moves into the second rank. If he does, then I'll precise shot him.

I am reasonably certain that the second line here should be:
Derek (A.B.C.) goes berserk on V… COM 2 + RDM 2 - DEF 5 AND MODS 8 Berserking & Numma Trois Support & V Mighty Blow = 7 Hits inflicted

The distinction here is important, because it means Derek gets the kill and levels, while Otto is freed up for an attack against a different enemy.

That was dropped from the order rules for logical reasons- it's perfectly reasonable for different attack types to support one another in attacking as long as they are next to each other to coordinate. A fireball or arrow can certainly mess with someone enough to screw up their defense against a sword or pike, after all. Since Derek is located directly in front of Numma Trois and is therefore adjacent I anticipated no problems.

It's not impossible that LTDave went with the earlier version of the rules and didn't specifically note that the Support bonus was lost while the penalty remained, but if that's the case I would like that cleared up as well.

You are correct - it should read:

Derek (A.B.C.) goes berserk on V… COM 2 + RDM 2 - DEF 5 AND MODS 8 Berserking & V Mighty Blow & Support = 7 Hits inflicted (Levels!)
Otto (five-thirteen) moves up and strikes nearest target…W… COM 2 + RDM 3 - DEF 6 AND MODS 0 = 0 Hits inflicted

And the support thing of the same kind was removed.
V is cwoaked, and cannot be healed.
Derek levels and gets +1 to hits, and +1 to either Combat or Defense.

In his bloody, gory (but still pretty chill) battle rage, Derek takes the bonus for Combat and berserks on the champion, W. With a little more help, that should whittle him down to croak-able level next turn.

Ian Marius Stanley will keep guarding Chess, and swing at closest enemy. (Even though, with the guard mod, the chance of inflicting damage is nil).
