Yay thanks Kaed, now everybody hurry up and respond so we can get in as many turns as possible over the weekend while he's got free time! :p

Soooooo....no offense Kaed....but 1 turn a week is kinda slow :( Are you just too busy to do this...? Because that's understandable, I don't want you to feel like we're pressuring you to produce when you just don't have the time.
Perhaps if all the players are open to it and you're ok with the idea, we could GM ourselves? This is more of a playtest anyway, and I'm sure we're all good enough to not metagame too badly. I definitely don't wanna kick you out...just giving you the option if you're realizing this is harder than you expected because of ur new job. (and even if you did "leave" as the Titan, we'd want you sticking around and offering input and commentary)

Sorry about that, I actually was away this weekend. It shouldn't be this slow normally. I'm writing your turns now and by tomorrow everything will be up

Ah okay understandable! Well don't be afraid to let us know if the situation changes as time goes by...especially if Bal never reappears. I'm sure we'll all do whatever we can to lighten the load on you, I know I am ready to at least.
Hope your "away-ness" was a pleasant vacation, not a work chore or something.

Sure am! Yesterday was my favorite kind of update! ;D

Several important rules were revealed in that update.

-my idea of the combat system still works and is probably at least partially right.
-olive is a florist and they do indeed make plant minions
-level 2 cities provide 8500 schmuckers when razed, and level 3's twice that.

From this last we can assume from a principle of diminishing returns that my system is far too low. For the moment I'm going to assume the diminished return is 15% to keep things easier. Maybe I'll be right too.

Therefore it should take 10k to upgrade to a level 2 and 20k for a level three.

Following that principle would mean 40k and 80k for the next two upgrades.

This will also require some increased production. I'm going to hazard a guess at 10% of what is required to upgrade the city, with a level 5 city topping off at 15k a turn.

Due to this increased scale I am also increasing resource point output by 50%.

There will be a bit of retconjuration today obviously.

Yes we did. Check the front page.

So since you guys now have a base income of 1000 for all your cities that also means I'm going to raise unit production to one stack per city level for stabber and piker infantry and the half stack at level 1 for the other two then one stack per level after that.

Anyone setting unit production may intentionally stunt their infantry production for the next turn instead of just immediately disbanding the spares to keep their upkeep positive.

Also after this turn today I want you all to keep track of your own finances to make things faster. I will conduct an audit every... 15 turns and use my mathamancy to make sure everything checks out.

This will mean my focus will be on the narrative and providing maps. Yay!

Bal is pretty much awol at this point. I'm going to need to clip my stress as much as possible.

Okay, to check that I have these figures correct:
Lvl 1 cities produce 1,000 $, Lvl 2 cities 2,000 $, Lvl 3 cities 4,000 $, Lvl 4 cities 8,000$, Lvl 5 cities 15,000$.
And Mines would produce 750$?

And these apply starting next turn, or retroactively?

And Special Unit/Knight production is the same?

Retroactively. Everything else is correct.

Though promotion prices will be redone too. Probably doubled at most.

Okay sorry for my delay, I have been on holiday for a long weekend so I had limited internet access. The City rules are updated I believe, Kaed you may want to skim them to make sure I adjusted everything appropriately.

I would assume so. I sent him a PM just to tell him what my treasury is at now given the Retconjured production rates.
I also came up with an idea that I hope will make his life easier:
Every turn, I will start off by listing my Income, Total Upkeep, and value of the Treasury after these transactions occur. Then, if I spend any Schmuckers during the turn, I list the Treasury's ending Value when I End Turn. I think this will make it easier for him to follow along when he does his audits, but we'll see what he says.

I'm going to give you all an update today (right now) and force myself not to worry about the map other than just looking at it.

Maybe you should look into getting another co-GM again. Even if it is early days, it could help smooth out things like that which would otherwise keep you occupied.
