Huh. I was just commenting on how Luckamancy, as it is currently implemented, kinda sucks but since I didn't have a luckamancer, I wasn't worried about fixing it for a while.
Since we've got so many mages, I normally let the dice determine whether to allow another one in, with a new caster being somewhat unlikely (especially if a duplicate is requested). I roll 3d6, and if you roll 8 or less, you get to play a caster.

And then, I'll confess, I cheated. I REALLY didn't want to rework luckamancy so soon. So, I rolled again.
And you rolled another 8.
So, yeah, your remote luckamancy is already working. Let me know what you want to look like, and I'll start thinking about how I can make luckamancy suck less.
