So, this new rush of simple play by post choose-an-action games have inspired me to try my own.

This game currently has slots for 4 players. More may come up. Please only join if you think you can post once every 48 hours minimum.

I'd like to be briefed on what's going on first. In the words of RLM, "why would the crew of the Prometheus agree to go on a four year mission when they're not briefed about what the mission is right until the mission starts? what if the mission involved a gang bang?"

You will be playing as a rag-tag team of... units... on a Dangerous and Exciting adventure.

I might be ok for this, depending on how much a "post" entails... if it's like Dave's Marbit thing, sure. If it's even as complex as an Erfworld Empires thing... maybe not.

I guess we'll get started then! It's time to introduce our... heroes. I will do them one at a time, and then the game will start a little later, once you all have a feel for your guy.

CroverusRaven - You are a Dire Rosebush. Created by the vicious and vindictive Florist, Nettle, when her Great Gardens were all burned and destroyed by an invading force, you are one of the most dangerous plant units ever created, and she poured all of her black, bitter heart into you. Due to this, you possess a Deep Hatred of all living things, save other plants. Your flowers and thorns are filled with Deadly Toxin and your thorns may be launched in a Ranged Attack. You can also Commune with Other Plants, though they are generally not as bright as you. You are also Confined to a Pot, and must be carried to move. Your Sacred Quest is to destroy the dangerous Lord Spanish, who possesses an Artifact that prevents him from taking damage from any attack. Only your deadly poison can defeat his otherwise impervious magical defense.

MarbitChow - You are Senor Expiracion. Once, you were a warlord under the great Lord Spanish. You reached Level 4, and probably did all sorts of heroic things. You don't know what any of them were, though, because you are an Uncroaked Warlord, created by the spooky Mistress Darkhollow. Due to shennanigans with a carnymancer, you can think and speak, and will not show any decay until the day you dust, which is in 77 turns. Due to this, you can pass as a living unit, yet are immune to the Dire Rosebush's Hatred. You possess a Sword for combat, and a Stealth Cloak, that will veil you for scouting. You are also capable of Pot Bearing, but may not fight while carrying the Rosebush.

BLAND - You are Mac, a Noble Steed. You are a horse-shaped cloth golem created by the eccentric dollamancer Lord Brony. You have a huggable red felt body with a golden mane mane and tail. You are Very Strong, and you used to pull heavy loads from Nettle's apple orchards. The orchards are long burned, though you still have your old designation sewn into your flank - a green apple with a slice missing. You are a Mount, and can carry one rider, which is useful because you have the Highest Move in the group. Finally, you are equipped with a Saddle Bag around your neck or carrying things. It currently holds Ten Sheets of paper and Writing Implements.

Water314 - You are an animated scarecrow created by a Hat Magician named Frank Baum. Your most valuable possessition is the Magic Hat that was given to you to bring you to life. With it, you are also capable of Sending Messages using the stationary supplies Mac is carrying. Using this method, you can Request Assistance from the casters that created you, allowing you to Generate Reinforcements. Though Nible and Quick, you are not terribly strong in combat, but with Senor Expiracion leading you, you can be a decent fighter. You have an uncanny ability to be Blamed for Problems, even when it makes no sense. You are also capable of Pot Bearing, but may not fight while carrying the Rosebush.

At least I get to be an Apocalypse Pony. All opposition shall be trampled under my hoofs by the Power of Friendship. And sleek buttonless design.
