Turn 3
Actions: . . . .
M1 Eats, and gathers wood, using his last two turns to gather food
M2 "Choppy" Eats a berry and takes up the spear, saying "What ? Are we going to starve here ? Where's Cook ?....er.. and that other Bit ? YOU...*points at Monk** ..give someone else the axe and stack with me. Let's see whats over there *points NorthWest* waits to stack before Moving NorthWest
M6 Monk grabs two berries for him and M2 Choppy to eat next turn, stacks with M2 Choppy, then Moves NorthWest
M10 tries to make a knife for the entire turn - (I'm not having knives when they do the same as Rock Axes) - so, search for Rock, start making axe, finish making axe.
M4 Builder Equip Axe Eat a piece of shroomfood Move NW Move NW
M3: Finish making rock axe tool use gem to pop ration(s) (many as possible with a single action) - this doesn't work. Maybe only a Commander can turn gems into rations? Eat search rock pile for more gems - there doesn't seem to be anymore gems here.
M7 eats, stacks with M2 and M6, and moves northwest with them.
Random IV eats, moves northwest.

Turn 4 Starts Now. 24 hours to post orders (or sooner if all players respond sooner).

Please put all your orders in Bold, and remember to tell me your Marbit's designation (Mx) and Name if you have one. ALSO IF ALL ORDERS COULD BE WRITTEN IN ONE LINE, this would be helpful in cutting and pasting. Thanks.

Things to Note:
A new Green Creature has popped in the home hex.
The Stack in the North West has spend an uncomfortable off-turn, watching the various creatures scarper about.
Green Creatures are Combat 2, Defence 4, Hits 6, Move 8.
The Vicious Food Beat is Combat 2, Defence 6, Hits 8, Move 2.
Remember - there are no berries - square red dots are meat food, round red dots are mushroom. Marbits will always eat meat food first, mushroom second.

Rules (such as they are)
Spoiler: show
Marbit Island is a play-by-post game run by me. Each player will be a Marbit, looking to survive here.
Move is the most important stat. It determines the number of actions you can take in a turn - move into other hexes, gather food, cut trees, build, etc.
Post your orders on the forum. For this game, orders will be resolved in the order in which they were posted - no editing of your posts, please!
This gives an advantage to early posters to grab equipment and resources, but allows later posters to know what has happened before they give their orders.
Marbits like to eat. At least once per turn. Marbits do not eat automatically, but must be given an order to eat.
If a Marbit is unable to eat, he will become hungry. A hungry Marbit that does not eat in their turn will become ill, or cwoak.
Marbits may hold up to two items in their hands. It takes an action to equip one or more items. Excess items are dropped in the hex.
If the weather turns bad, Marbits will need to take shelter in a hut. A hut can shelter up to six Marbits.
Combat is a dangerous game, and no one is really sure just how it works. High Combat and Defence values are good. Working as a team, or 'stack' is also good.
Marbits who do not submit orders within the allotted time will default to eating once, and then singing lewd lyrics drafted into popular musicals.
NPC Marbits may be given orders by Player Marbits. It takes one action to give a set of orders to one NPC. The first player to issue orders to an NPC controls it for that turn (no befriending).
All the necessary information should be displayed on the map, above. Any questions? Just ask.

There was a map error last turn - the Axe that had been made should have been a Rock Axe. Apologies for any misunderstanding.

With me, we march on the green creature! (We'll need more tools before we can defeat the vicious food beast). Also beasties pop. So we just now need to set up traps for them to start a harvesting system.

M4 'Builder' Orders

Attack Green Creature

Finish the fight with green creature
If Green creature is defeated harvest hide
Eat Food

Chop Wood

I claim an axe for my reincarnation if not resting gets me killed, but we should find out what is needed to remove the green. It might be possible to eat simply half shrooms. If its just resting then then we could have a "rest, harvest, eat, tend/plant" cycle. It would be a crappy existence, but it would be an existence. Also someone else want to produce hide armor from the hide I might get, and wooden shoes from the wood I might get? We always need more defense, and shoes should be damn useful.

So much for my ration popping idea.

M3 "Rod" Stacks for combat with green creature in home hex, eats meat from it, Moves NW, and stacks for combat in NW hex.

There is a black dot on the rock pile next to M3. Is it meant to be closer to M3's name like the black dots next to other character's names?

No, that's a note to self for the GM. I'll change the colour to be less confusing.

I think it means the pile of rocks is hungry. What do rocks eat anyway? Marbits?

Oh and we should probably make pick axes at some point so we can dig.

So from our two fights so far, attacks have done and gotten damage returned each time you perform one. Hence I am only going to attack the green creature once

M4 Builder's orders

Harvest Wood
Make Shoes
Attack Green Creature
Eat
Note will wait to eat until the creature is croaked.

I claim the shoes and axe if I die from not resting.

M10 isn't fed - he has a black dot.
Also, South East is a Water Hex. Can't move there.

Actually, with the precedent set by Count Topotato, I believe that he is fully capable of entering the water.

M7 will stack with M2, M4, M6, and M9; attack together with them; slaughter their fallen enemy for food; feast upon the flesh of their slain enemy.
