I love the art. So Maggie saw the world spinning... at least the hangover will last only till GK turn starts.

technically nice work on the artwork. but it's not to my tastes.

i fnd it amusing the turn has so much fanfare at it's end now. units on patrol must be bored out of their skulls.

Hysterical update. She's so prim and proper, even to her own helmet...

Maggie has gone from the "cold fish" Parson saw her as to his ardent defender and fellow picnic companion with astonishing speed.

Also, the artwork is a masterful blend of art deco and D&D RPG.

It's reminiscent, accidentally perhaps, of an Indiana Jones movie poster, what with that pith helmet taking center stage.

I agree with the inadvertent hilarity value of Maggie. As for her comments... Supposing that you had a unit-type called Helmet, and to a Thinkamancer who but relatively recently was part of a Eyemancer Linkup, the fact that the Helmet-unit is where she left it, expects it, and where it therefore ought to be, that makes it a good unit for whatever "upset" happens to fly at it, regardless of what it's personal choice is, if it even has all that much free will in the first place.

Art-wise, it reminds me of a video game ad. Having not seen all that many in-real-life Tarot cards, I cannot comment, but which "card" would this be, then? Queen of Spades, perhaps? (Yes, that was me shipping for Maggie/Sizemore.)

Well, it doesn't resemble any particular card, but it'd definitely be Major Arcana... I'd equate End Turn with the Wheel of Fortune. Because I'm a dork. But yeah, I'd put Maggie as the Queen of Swords(/Spades)... (I KNOW that sounds like Jillian, but I'd put her as either High Arcana or the Queen of Wands, association-wise.)

Sizemore, I think, could go as the Knight of either Cups or Pentacles.

Poor helmet.

I couldn't help but read subtext into Maggie's comments. Could it be that her drunk mumblings reveal a displeasure with her position? She'd rather be somewhere else, having some other duty, but instead will always find herself here, where she was left yesterday, always handy?

Or is she just plastered?

Time will tell, hopefully.

I love reading Erfworld, partly because its so well thought out, so I was a little surprised that everybody didn't sober up with the coming of the new turn. OR is it just the end of the turn and it hasn't quite flipped yet? While reading the comic I was wondering if they would keep their new clothes or go back to what they normally wear--which now that I think of it must have happened for maggie to have a helmet, I guess it must be a new turn.

Regeneration/Fabrication its all same to Titans I guess ;)

I bet you at the beginning of the new turn (AKA the next day) they will sober up even if Parson stays up all night thinking about what he's learned.

I just realized, that Erfworld is the perfect place to party. You can drink yourself into coma, and the very next morning you will woke up with full hit points and clean cloths.

Especially useful if your 'friends' draw all over your face with permanent ink markers.

As for the art, loved it. I just hope Nathan does a few more, a full set would be fantastic.

Quite enjoyed the update, Parson is learning more every turn. I also enjoyed the fanfare and the art.

Was I the only one expecting a Spacebals reference with all the attention paid to the helmet? :D
