If we moved too close, of course.

But so long as we keep a safe distance away from the corner, (which we would, following my orders) then they wouldn't be able to reach us in one move. And since they won't be able to reach us in one move, we'll be able to move back... Meaning they won't be able to reach us with their next move, either, and so on.
