We've had 8 battles so far this game and I have been involved in all of them. Considering that I have Borders with 4/5 of the other players, I'm probably going to be seeing more combat in the near future as well. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.

A couple questions:
1. Do I get to choose the units lost to the dragon?
2. Are the dragon and storms random events or things that other players have decided to do to me with magic spells or other trickery? (If they're something the players have done, then I'll get my revenge in due course. If they're random events, then I have somehow offended either the GM or some form of deity. (Random events determined by territory size?))

Your enemies are marching on your homeland and with rumors of the dragon attacking your territory we will give you a chance to survive. We say the border between our nations is the Anor River and the Ridget/Merra boundry. We will be at a 10 turn truce where anyone breaking the truce must pay 30 Gold.
Can we actually enforce contracts like this? (If so, what happens if 1 side incurs a penalty they cannot afford?)
What happens when a side's treasury goes to 0 or negative?
Regardless of the answers to my questions, I cannot accept the offer as is. My counteroffer is the same 10 turn peace agreement, but I keep all my current territory. (I don't consider Marey currently mine.)
