I like Sir Shadow's argument better. After all, if he'd only started with 3 people or so, and someone ended up getting dropped, he'd be down to two people slugging it out. But he has... what, 5, 6? So if someone drops... well, it kinda sucks, but it isn't like the game is over. And this early on... well, if there was someone else interested, they might be able to be run through the first 3 turns or so fairly quickly with a skype text chat or something to replace the person who is missing.
I'm guessing we're waiting on whirdcheese, since he hasn't been on for six days now. I think something might have come up with him, because he was also about to start running a game of his own. Could be he bit off more than he could chew, could be he lost power with all the storms that have been hitting the Eastern US, or his house burned up in the fires plaguing the Western US. Hopefully it's just the first and not something more serious, but at some point a call has to be made to move on without him, replace him, or move on a couple more turns and if he shows up, give him a chance to catch up and use some predictamancy to make sure that he doesn't run into us, and if not go back to the first two options. I don't know how close we are to each other, and thus how likely we are to actually meet up in our first half dozen turns or so.
I don't know how far into their turns everyone else is, and like I said, I don't know how close we actually are because my lookamancer hasn't found you guys yet, but I figure we might be able to go to turn 5 or so at least before a decision is made about whird, and if he shows back up he might just have to do a power session with Shadow to catch up to us.
