Minty Mountains
From ErfWiki
[edit] Proposed Canon
The presumed home of the non-capital Marbit forces, or at least a location they have mined at one time.
The mountains consist of between dozens and hundreds of hexes of Mountains, High Mountains, and Valleys.
Wild dwagons pop in the mountains, at a rate of roughly once per 200 turns per hex.
[edit] Real World References
The name parodies the name of the "Misty Mountains" from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It may also be a reference to Andes Mints, a popular brand of mint-flavored chocolate candy named after the Andes mountain range.
