Sizemore, Maggie, and Wanda stand behind the table with their hands linked. All three are surrounded by a violet nimbus. One of the floating illumination globes falls to the tabletop. | [edit] |
Panel 3
|
Parson waves an arm as he turns away from the linked casters. He walks toward a small table in the background, on which his eyebook is sitting and giving the "TA-DA!" chime indicating a message from Charlie. | [edit] |
Panel 4
Panel 5
|
Parson stands in the middle of the room as cracks spread in the ceiling above him. Behind him the green glow of the portal shines upon the scene. | [edit] |
Panel 6
|
A closeup of the eyebook page shows the message from the previous frame in faded text, followed by two prominently displayed new messages. | [edit] |
Panel 7
|
The scene shows a corridor collapsing on various units of both sides, who have abandoned their fight in a forlorn attempt to halt the cave-in. | [edit] |
Panel 8
|
Another closeup of the eyebook page shows the last message from the previous frame in faded text, followed by two prominently displayed new messages. | [edit] |
Panel 9
|
Parson snaps the eyebook shut and looks over his shoulder. The condition of the room's walls and ceiling is growing more precarious. | [edit] |
Panel 10
|
Parson looks at the doorway leading out of the room, which is now completely blocked by debris. Chunks of rock are falling from the ceiling. | [edit] |
Panel 11
|
The green glow of the portal fills the foreground as Parson desperately races toward it. | [edit] |
Panel 12
|
Parson has mostly disappeared through the portal, with just an arm and a leg still sticking out. In the foreground, the rain of rock from the failing ceiling becomes more intense. | [edit] |

- ^ "Total Player Kill" -- the entire adventuring party is wiped out.
- ^ "Sorry, Charlie" was the standard punch line of the StarKist Tuna commercials featuring "Charlie the Tuna", whose self-professed "good taste" was always judged not good enough to meet the company's standards for its product.
- ^ "GG" probably means "Good Game". (It may also mean "Got To Go"; however, that phrase is more commonly rendered in leetspeak as "G2G".)
- ^ Recalling his previous thoughts that he was "doing the Wizard of Oz thing" and merely dreaming that he was in Erfworld, Parson repeats the words Dorothy said as she used the magic slippers to return home to Kansas.
