Not sure about the note of Al being a different race from the others; First Intermission 13 shows Al in its picture, and he's got Transylvitan ears. Maybe we need to rethink our assumption that "Vampires" are a non-Man species. Menlo Marseilles 07:51, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
...she may just be POVing him as a man rather than saying 'Male Vampire'. Or maybe Transylvitan Vampire is an upgrade from a normal member of the Transylvitan tribe?
She describes him as a "tanned man". It does not seem to me that Transylvito vampires with their gray skin can tan, nor that even if they could, Jillian with very little prior contact could identify the colour of tanned vampire flesh. I think we have a case here where Jamie and Rob may have had a disconnect. She uses "men" again in this entry to describe the units on the galleons but not to describe the group she's travelling with. I think we need to go with the technical term for now, and wait to see if anything changes in future updates. --Kreistor 13:27, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Also, in the picture, All is running, while the known vampires are all flying. If Al were a vampire, wouldn't be have a natural ability to fly? Perhaps the ears are nto a sign of vampirism, but a sign of being a member of the Transylvitian side, like an emblem. --Wrecan 13:35, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Doh... she notes in the text that he doesn't fly, making it a notable difference. If he were not a vampire, why would she expect him to fly? --Kreistor 13:41, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ugh, and don't forget Rob's comedic license. He can violate rules for comedy's sake, and this is definitely a potential case of that. --Kreistor 13:42, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
For the second time, he is drawn with vampire ears. I think we need tyo back off his race to Unknwon. He could be a vamp, but he may be a human that wears ears to try to fit in. Or he just might be a comedic character not meant to fit in. --Kreistor 13:51, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, gotta agree with you there, Kreistor. Theres's just not enough there to make a determination. Thanks for changing the stats box and adding the speculation section. --MisterB777 17:14, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Given that Don King, definitely a Transylvitan vampire, is apparently unable to fly as well, might this add weight (ahem) to the theory that Al Frappacino is a regular vampire, also too fat to fly?
