"DE-SPOOF" is a common Sound Effect when a Veiling spell is removed.

Speculation

Whether Sound Effects actually are understood in Erfworld as words, or are just meaningful to those who are seeing events through the fourth wall is still not explained.

Real World

To "Spoof" something is to pretend that something is true when it is not. To "Spoof" someone i is to pretend to be someno when one is not.

The prefix "DE-" is related to deletion or removing of something.
