Race: Men, Uncroaked
Faction: Gobwin Knob
Class: Warlord
Special: Leadership

[edit] Proposed Canon

First Appearance: TBFGK 27

Ensign Toast was an uncroaked warlord for Stanley the Plaid. Along with Archduke Ferdinand he was dispatched to defend the Gobwin Knob garrison from attacking forces, and was presumably destroyed in the ensuing battle.

[edit] Speculation

Since he is last in order of "freshness" Erf-b1-p027Same-site.PNG, it is possible that Ensign Toast was one of Stanley's earliest warlords, but he is at least the oldest "surviving" Warlord. Since uncroaking costs only Juice, it would not be reserved solely for Chief Warlords, so Ensign Toast may not have filled that role. If he was a Chief Warlord, Stanley may have replaced him with Sir Leeroy Jenkins, but there may have been others in that role between their time served.

[edit] Real World References

His name is a fan-created term for the "cannon fodder", sacrificial redshirt characters in the first Star Trek television series. His attire is a red Star Trek shirt in the style of the Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform. (Nitpicky Detail: Gold, not red, was the color used for security in ST:TNG. However, the TNG styling serves to identify the shirt as a "Star Trek" uniform, which is the important point to get the joke across.)
