** I've been whittling down the Uncategorized pile by putting a "Frame Contents" category on the comic Text/Description pages. After that bit of housekeeping, we may want to request a "Comic" namespace and put those pages there so that other articles show up in the "Random Page" function. Particularly Significant Pages
- Descriptive Table of Contents -- Each page of the comic has its own wiki page, with transcribed dialog, text descriptions of the panels, and footnotes to highlight and explain various points of interest.
- Guidelines For Fan Art -- A brief word from Rob on the do-s and don't-s of using Erfworld content.
Wanted: Maintenance and Improvements
If you are willing to help, check out this list of "notes to self" maintained by several Erfwiki contributors. This is not an action plan for everyone to follow. But you can certainly help if you take a look and do some of these things.
Things are listed roughly in the order of decreasing urgency: urgent stuff is on top, long term things are in the bottom.
Ongoing stuff
- Keep Plot Summary updated
- Keep Descriptive Table of Contents updated
- Do detailed Page Annotation
- Copy Rob's posts, and Jamie's posts that contain important information about Erfworld on the GitP forums and these forums to Word of the Titans article for easier reference and in order to save information.
Urgent stuff
- Check all Erfworld-related articles and make sure that they follow Canon/Proposed Canon/Speculation scheme that Rob suggested
- Update other articles with references to the comic archive on erfworld.com (as opposed to that on GitP.com). Use the {{erf}} template.
- Come up with Style Guidelines for Erfwiki (they are still under discussion, but it would be great if you followed them, and helped develop them).
- Import Help sections from media wiki
Long term stuff
- Make Plot Summary more detailed as Rob wants
- Find and add Erfworld cameos to Erf Cameos.
Maintenance Tasks
- Regularly check on the list of Wanted Pages to see if there is anything you can contribute.

- Keep an eye on Dead-End, Uncategorized, and Unused pages. As well as Unused Categories. Attempt to fix as appropriate.
- I've been whittling down the Uncategorized pile by putting a "Frame Contents" category on the comic Text/Description pages. After that bit of housekeeping, we may want to request a "Comic" namespace and put those pages there so that other articles show up in the "Random Page" function. SteveMB 18:13, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Review pages for advancement from Speculation to Proposed Canon. New information needs to confirm and/or change old theories, promoting or demoting them in turn.
- A lot of old pages were written as Speculation because the authors were overly cautious. We know a lot more than some people think. I'm working my way through all Pages in the Speculation Category to look for advancement. Rob is only checking pages in the Propose dCanon category, so unless this is done, it will remain Speculation forever. --Kreistor 18:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
