Particularly Significant Pages

  • Descriptive Table of Contents -- A table of contents for Erfwiki's complete, annotated archive of the Erfworld comic and related materials. Each page of the story (whether comics or prose) has its own wiki page, with transcribed dialog, text descriptions of the panels, and footnotes to highlight and explain various points of interest.
  • Guidelines For Fan Art -- A brief word from Rob on the do-s and don't-s of using Erfworld content.

Wanted: Maintenance and Improvements

If you are willing to help, check out this list of "notes to self" maintained by several Erfwiki contributors. This is not an action plan for everyone to follow. But you can certainly help if you take a look and do some of these things.

Things are listed roughly in the order of decreasing urgency: urgent stuff is on top, long term things are in the bottom.

Maintenance Tasks

  • Regularly check on the list of Wanted Pages to see if there is anything you can contribute.
    • 1863 of these found at 09:55, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
    • 441 as of 22:04, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
    • 20 on June 4, 2009 9:53 (UTC)
  • Keep an eye on Dead-End, Uncategorized, and Unused pages. As well as Unused Categories. Attempt to fix as appropriate.
    • I've been whittling down the Uncategorized pile by putting a "Frame Contents" category on the comic Text/Description pages. After that bit of housekeeping, we may want to request a "Comic" namespace and put those pages there so that other articles show up in the "Random Page" function. SteveMB 18:13, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
    • We've knocked out the panels, but the Descriptions and Texts for each panel remain; I dunno what to do. Make a new category? Will their Categories appear on the Panel page as well? Will it throw things off? CIHN July 17 2009 - oh, noinclude. of course ...aaaaand... DONE! (June 19) Holy Boop. 1,000 pages.
  • Review pages for advancement from Speculation to Proposed Canon. New information needs to confirm and/or change old theories, promoting or demoting them in turn.
    • A lot of old pages were written as Speculation because the authors were overly cautious. We know a lot more than some people think. I'm working my way through all Pages in the Speculation Category to look for advancement. Rob is only checking pages in the Propose dCanon category, so unless this is done, it will remain Speculation forever. --Kreistor 18:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
