Findamancy is one of the three disciplines of the Magic class Hocus Pocus; it is aligned with the axis of Erf.Erf-b1-p038a

Speculation
Due to their involvement in Parson's discovery, it may be assumed that they may be used to find things, like people, and may be involved with the promotion of warlords. (Stanley, having no Findamancers, used his own methods of promotion, mainly aesthetics, rather than strategy.) It is possible that Findamancers can block other Findamancers attempts to find a particular person, place, or thing, such as making a place like FAQ unfindable (â la making something unplottable in the Harry Potter series), or to prevent Gobwin Knob from finding Gobwins. It's possible too that Findamancy is the Erfworld equivalent of summoning, since it was used to bring Parson.
