Captain Ford is a Warlord in service of Gobwin Knob. He is a forest-capable ranger.
Speculation
Considering the way things have been going, Ford is likely Decrypted and quite possibly a former Unaroyal warlord.
This is the first mention of "rangers," but it probably denotes a forest-capable (or possibly other terrain-specific?) scout.
