Proposed Canon

Grandiocosmic Strings or G-Strings are the conduits of all magic power in Erfworld. Only Thinkamancers know of their existance. The majority of not all Thinkamancy Spells are actually the Thinkamancer manipulating the G-Strings of the other Units.
