Panel 1

Closeup on Jillian looking skeptical.[edit]
Queen Jillian Zamussels: You're with Stanley...just to keep the Arkentools together? [edit]

Panel 2

Wanda looks up and away, giving a long-suffering look.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Understand.

Stanley and I are only minor actors, in service to a greater destiny. I know this.

And he is at least dimly aware.

Sound Effect: *roll*
[edit]

Panel 3

A bird's-eye view of Wanda, Jillian, and their forces. Perhaps our best view so far of the city, it is circular with ordered streets; mostly rectangular buildings, except for one ring-shaped structure and one shaped like a forked branch; a park is nestled into one area, dominated by a central pond but also boasting several trees and a gazebo or platform.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: What is the destiny, Wanda?

Wanda Firebaugh: I haven't a clue.

But bringing the Arkentools together is the next step.

It will happen, inevitably. You would be wise to stand aside and let it.
[edit]

Panel 4

Jillian rubs her chin thoughtfully while resting her sword across her saddle. Wanda looks on.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: That...does kind of explain a lot.

So, what? You're gonna go conquer Charlescomm for the Arkendish?

And then try to find the fourth Arkentool...
[edit]

Panel 5

Wanda lowers her eyebrows, looking impatient or frustrated.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: No.

Charlescomm is the last side we would ever attack.
[edit]

Panel 6

Wanda and Jillian continue their conversation.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Charlie is an enigma, but he is attuned, and he will play out his part just as I have, and will.

As a neutral non-Royal, let him stand aside and watch for now.
[edit]

Panel 7

Closeup on Jillian, lips pursed, looking at Wanda questioningly. Behind her stand the garrison and tower of Spacerock.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: Um. Wanda, what if...

What if told you it's all okay?

You can turn now, without betraying your mission or your Fate or whatever you want to call it.
[edit]

Panel 8

Wanda's hair is visible in the foreground as Jillian slumps her shoulders, looking down.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: How?

Queen Jillian Zamussels: I can't tell you. You'd have to -

You'd have to trust me.

...I know.
[edit]

Panel 9

Wanda sits straight up like a rod, while Jillian leans over and waves her left hand, her right still gripping the hilt of the sword laid in front of her.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: No.

Queen Jillian Zamussels: Wanda-

Wanda Firebaugh: I made that mistake.

Queen Jillian Zamussels: Well it's different now!

All right?
[edit]

Panel 10

Wanda half-squints, seemingly measuring Jillian.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: All right.

Show me.

Earn my trust again.

Jillian Zamussels: Okay how?
[edit]

Panel 11

Wanda turns in the saddle to look at Jillian, holding the Arkenpliers low between the mounts.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Stand aside. Spare your units and mine, and allow me to take the garrison unopposed.

Afterward, we will negotiate my turning to Faq. It's that simple.
[edit]

Panel 12

Closeup on Jillian looking serious.[edit]
No text in this panel. [edit]

Panel 13

Laying the Arkenpliers in front of her, Wanda smiles as Jillian looks straight forward.[edit]

Jillian Zamussels: My Caster's on the tower.

Let me go order her into the Magic Kingdom.
